+ -1 moreI am taking legal aciton. He said he had a contractors license but it had expired and he was getting it back, just a fee thing! HE never had one I found out later! HE had come highly recommended from a reputable business man in the state. He had done subcontract work at my home with this company. When I asked for my money back he said he did not have any money and would give me a tax receipt on his letterhead. I have a written apology from him.
Description of Work: I received a price of $3,500 for replacement of facial boards on the back of my house, caulk windows and areas needed and painting(my house is all brick except for the eves and trim). I gave Guy Chaney $3,000 for supplies and he was to bring receipts. I asked over 21 times, yes I counted, for receipts. All he brought was A couple boards, putty and paint. He did not finish the job. He painted just the top of my windows and I had to hire someone to finish the job.
