Captain Electric

Great support; couldn't ask for better.

On our holiday trip to our new vacation home on Kiawah, I bungled the installation of a chandelier I thought I could install. I called Captain Electric and was promptly called back by Brent. I explained my problem and he agreed to sent someone late that afternoon. Dustin arrived after his previously scheduled appt. and quickly installed the chandelier. He was courteous, professional and poroficient. I had decided that I might as well have Captain American install the rest of the lighting I had purchased plus rewire the worst cable and internet installation wire mess I had ever seen. In our absence, the cable company had wired the internet/cable using the existing wiring which was literally located at the front door. There were wires everywhere and my sister-in-law (who was there for the installation) bought a cabinet to try and hide the wires and the two boxes to no avail. You had to go the the front door and point the remote at the cabinet to change the channel for the TV in the living room. It was crazy.
Anyway, I Brent agreed to send Dustin back our on Saturday to install the rest of the lights and do the rewiring. This would be in time for Christmas and I was very grateful. On Saturday Dustin called to say he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come a little early. He was able to complete all of the work that day quickly and efficiently. He did a fabulous job and I am very happy with the work and the price. I will use them again when I replace some other light fixtures and ceiling fans. I highly recommend Captain America!

Overall the technician did a good job. He saved me money on the parts that I had purchased that were unnecessary. He also was patient and understanding as I changed my mind several time over the placement of the outlets and give me his personal opinion. The only issue I had is that he did not put back the furniture that had to be moved during the service call. Divided on whether that was part of the job, but he did say he would help me to put things back and he didn't.

They explained the process of the whole home surge protection they were installing and educated us on the importance of surge protection and warranty. They were timely and had great customer service.
