We have a built in microwave that we wanted to keep because it matches the rest of our built-in appliances, but after, three service calls and enough parts to build a new microwave! The microwave is not fixed. We lost faith in the technicians (yes, plural) when they started to “Google” how to repair a microwave. Eventually, we were informed that the “microwave beat them” and they would have to get somebody else out to look at the microwave. Despite our misgiving, we ask how they planned to tackle the situation. The response while comical, unfortunately reinforced our misgiving, but with pride they told us that “they would come out as many times as it took for someone to figure it out!” Obviously they did not know who that someone was our how many times that they might have to try, but after watching them search Google for hours we did not doubt their determination, just their ability. When we told them we had some reservations about multiple follow ups, the explosion was immediate and horrible. One tech in particular became extremely angry and related that they didn’t care that we had reservations and in fact they were taking back all their parts! This exchange was followed by a violent disassembly of the microwave, which included throwing parts, tools, slamming doors and a lot of angry grumbling and cursing. Ultimately they left with their parts; we made a couple of calls ensuring that they would not be back. Now we must replace the microwave and we have some questions about whether or not the extent of the damage was due to the original failure or the violent disassembly and reassembly. Assurance Appliance's office support staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. And, although it did take several service visits to repair my Bosch dishwasher, the repair was done well and I am pleased with the service.

Good experience. We have American Home Shield warranty and they scheduled AAR. Tony came out on time and knew what he needed to order through AHS. It took AHS almost a month to get the parts to AAR, but when the parts showed up, Tony came right out and effected the repairs in about 20 minutes and cleaned the coils under the fridge as well. Gave me some good advice on my dryer while he was working. Very pleased with the service and the professionalism of the tech. Would call them again.

First contact was great.  It all went downhill from there.
It was 6 weeks from the time the tech was here until my husband called to inquire about the return service call to replace the parts.  He was told one of the parts was on backorder.
The next day Assurance called us to ask if they could come out and take a picture of our control board so they could order the right part.
Apparently "backordered" and "not ordered" are synonyms.  I did not know that.
After another month of waiting and hearing absolutely not a peep from Assurance, my husband called again.  That was today, February 1st.
He was asked a series of questions about our refrigerator and then put on hold for 10 minutes.  A different person came on the line, asked him the exact same series of questions, and then put him on hold again.
My husband waited for 20 minutes on hold before he was disconnected.
To say this has been a frustrating experience is putting it mildly.
We have had an open service call with these people for over 3 months with no communication from them about when we might be able to wrap things up.
And when my husband calls to ask them, he gets hung up on.
I would not recommend Assurance to anyone - let alone someone who might want an actual functioning appliance within a year's time.

We called Assurance Appliance Repair to fix our Bosch dryer which stopped working for the 2nd time in two months. It was originally repaired by another company but thankfully they weren't able to schedule an appointment until several days later so we called Assurance. The repairman was extremely professional and had no trouble diagnosing the issue and repairing it on the spot. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing appliance repairs.

I called Assurance Appliance repair because one of the (residential type) dishwashers in our church fellowship hall kitchen would not drain. This was a day or two before two large events. They made an appointment for  late in the afternoon, ran a little late (but called) and made the repair in just a few minutes. Very contentious people. Fair and Reliable. I will call again if needed.

He unclogged the drain. He cleaned out the inside tub part. Made sure it drained properly. Was very professional and courteous. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again.
