Henson Building Materials

Our new build kitchen went terribly wrong. Cabinets were ordered incorrectly and the damaged on installation. Appliances were improperly installed. Henson abandoned the project before completing 'repairs'. Pictures show the final product.

This was a disaster in terms of my budget for my home project.  The subcontractor I used did not shop at all or look at the prices being charged by Henson's and just passed on to me the costs of materials with a further mark up and charge for his delivery and pick up of materials.  A revies of the costs of materials and comparison with Lowes and Home Depot on the identical same materials, lumber, reinforcing wire, misc. supplies, a ladder, various compounds, and construction materials found an average mark up for this vendor 54 per cent higher than the going rate at the other vendors.  This means the costs of my materials I paid for during this project was over fifty per cent higher than I should have paid.  IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WELL WORTH THE COST OF GAS TO DRIVE TO SPARTANBURG OR HENDERSONVILLE TO BUY MY MATERIALS INSTEAD OF PURCHASING.  If you are planning a project beware and and understand Henson Building materials exists and thrives on contractors who come in and get materials and pass the costs on to you the customer with no shopping involved and who do not bother to check prices.  This is  a rip off supplier.
