Very well. Work started on time. All workers were very polite and worked all day, not even taking a lunch break. They cleaned the work area each day before they left. The project manager came by daily and checked the work. We highly recommend Welcome for any kitchen work.

Contracted with Welcom to do a complete, simultaneous remodel of our kitchen and master bathroom including design. We worked primarily with Bill Brown and owner John Silva on the project. They were very helpful during the design phase of the project as we never undertook a project of this nature. Once demolition began there was activity almost everyday for the 6 week long project. All of the Welcom employees as well as the sub-contractors were very pleasant to work with and to have in our home. Throughout the entire project John Silva was on site very often which enabled us to be able to discuss the project and to be able to understand what was going on, what was coming up, and to be able to discuss and make changes. While the project took longer than anticipated, we are very happy with the results. One of the best features of the project was that Welcom manages the entire project and all sub-contractors. One stop shopping for us! We highly recommend you consider Welcom if you are in the market for a kitchen and or bath remodel.

From assessment, planning, cost, to construction, we were pleased.  Afterwards, contact with them was great.  Finished project was magnificent.

We ordered a white painted vanity cabinet for a bathroom. After only a year of very minimal use, the paint appears splotchy with the wood actually showing through the paint on some of the edges. It looks like the cabinet painters only put one coat of paint on the doors. Also the edge of the toe kick board is unpainted. We are very dissatisfied.
Response from Welcom Cabinets Inc
"[Member Name Removed], I apologize for the poor performance of your product. I must admit I was surprised to see your review. We are new to angies list and I never knew this was out there. If memory serves me correctly, we installed a painted white poplar vanity in your home. I believe at the time this was purchased, it was a relatively new wood species (poplar) used by the manufacturer to reduce product costs. They traditionally would only paint maple, but started using the softer poplar to offer a less expensive alternative coming out of the recession. Some of the earliest production runs made it through the QA process easily, but the edges of the doors continued to absorb the paint. The manufacturer fixed the problem as soon as it became known by double spraying all end grain to seal it and then sending it through the line again. We have installed hundreds of cabinets in this same species and finish with virtually no issues. as for the toe kick, that is a cut to fit item and the raw edge should have been painted to match during installation, that is our mistake. I would like the opportunity to see if I can get this issue resolved for you, but will need to retrieve the original shipping documents from our archived records. If you could call me at the office at your earliest convenience, I would like to come by to take some pictures of the issues to submit to my Manufacturers rep. Thank you, John Silvia"

At the time this work was being done, my father was ill and I was not able to be around to help. In spite of all the problems going on outside of the "remodel", everything went very smoothly. While the work was in progress, if/when I had something specific I wanted done or done differently, the subcontractor immediately did what I requested. I anticipated the work taking a couple of months, having heard horror stories from some of my friends. The work was DONE and the subcontractors were out of the house within 10 days. That was amazing. I am very pleased with Welcom Cabinets and their subcontractors.
