Rick of Austin Pools ripped us off. We paid him a 2200.00 deposit and he kept our deposit. 4.5 half months later, he still hasn't refunded our money. He has a history of doing this. He will say he is coming and he never shows up. If I would have researched him on Angie's List I would have never hired him. He is 52 years old and claim to be a Vietnam Veteran (the math doesn't add up). He  will rip you off BEWARE.

worse experience we ever had with anyone we hired for anything. he never showed up when he said he would. id call and he always had a long story why he couldn't he was fixing someone else's pool and would offer a long story about that. this guy took more time telling stories than any work he did. he was supposed to put in a pool liner. ended up he crashed in our pool. then left it there not doing anything for a month. we had already paid him a large portion of the entire cost. we ended up call heritage pools to fix his mess. Rick arrive at my house and broke into my backyard which ended up with the police having to show up. he never reimbursed us for the money we paid him. this man should be in jail, not out taking money from people and not doing what he says. i read his reviews today and found a couple of A's. i would say id bet money they were put there by his friends. even if you have to pay double with someone else, do it! this guy is a must to stay far away from!!!

Austin Pools & Spas ripped us off. It took over a year to finish. I called him and he promised to come out the next day but he never showed up. It was an awful experience.

The owner Rick was very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what needed to be done to bring our pool out of it's dilapidated state.  I was a little nervous about working with Rick after seeing the poor ratings here but our experience was nothing but wonderful.    Rick was always on time, worked long days, kept the area super clean and kept us informed at all times, and his workmanship was top notch.  Our pool and the deck are beautiful.  This experience was among the best we've ever had and I highly recommend Rick for your pool services.

I have had good luck with these guys. They worked on my above ground pool when no one else would. They put a lot of work into it and got it sparkling blue again. They replaced several parts for me when I couldn't do it myself. I would definitely use them again.  My only complaint about them is that they are slow to respond to messages and sometimes miss appointments, requiring me to call them and reschedule. Otherwise, I had a good experience with Austin Pools.

Rick (the owner) never shows when he says he will,  he constantly puts jobs off, he lies and should not be trusted.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere I finally cancelled his contract after he caused $3000 worth of damage to my pool.I will be suing him.
