Charlie and his crew were just great.  We needed them to coordinate with our concrete crew and they did just that.  Our fence was beck up the day after the concrete pour.  They are knowledgeable  and did a great job.  They were  friendly and worked well together, seemed to really enjoy their jobs.  I would call them again for any fence work I needed to have done.

Love my new fence and so do my dogs! The guys even made sure they couldn't get between the spaces and when my smallest dog could they put up a vinyl coated wire attached to the fencing that you can't even see. Very pleased with the results

Excellent, professional service, & installation. I would recommend Affordable Fence in a heart beat! Charlie quickly came to my home & gave me an estimate on installation costs. After construction had started, I made a minor change in the plan--no worries! All work was done to my specifications! There was an old chain link fence that needed to be removed, as well as an old dog kennel. The guys removed all of the old fencing for me with no problems! I highly recommend Charlie Stewart & his crew...Work completed in 2days! I am one happy customer!!

The crew showed up on time and explained to me what and how they would complete the job. They checked with me for final location of the fence and began work. They dug the holes for the fence posts, then installed the posts and concrete. They explained that the concrete should set for at least 24 hours and because it was friday when they installed the posts, they would be back on Monday morning to install the fence. They showed up Monday morning when they said they would and completed the installation. The crew was professional, and complete. I was very pleased with the finished product.

Mr Stewart came out within a day of calling him to give me a quote. Due to the urgency, he was able to start Monday for a small fee. Fence went up and looks great.

Charlie's crew showed up during February when the weather was very cold.  They got me an estimate right away, and were willing to work with me on salvaging what I could to keep the costs down (reusing my old posts for this rental property).  He upgraded my fencing to stronger support 2x4s from the original 2x1s, and went with a 1x6 stronger picket option for added durability and security (tenants have dogs).  Upon completion, he told me how to treat  and maintain the fencing for years of use.  Within 30 days, a few pickets had split, and needed replacing.  I called Charlie and he stood behind his work, and replaced the bad boards.  He was easy to deal with, and was very professional and affordable.  If you're getting fencing work done, give Charlie a chance to quote.  I'd use them again.

It was a pleasure dealing with Mr. Stewart. He promptly returned my initial call and scheduled a time to come and give me an estimate. He is polite, pleasant and very knowledgeable and explained everything to me about what had been wrong with our old fence and what he would be doing for the new fence. The work was actually performed several weeks earlier than we had been told because he found some time in the schedule. We were out of town when the work was done, but I had complete confidence that we would be happy with the results. What we found when we returned home was a beautiful fence and a yard so undisturbed that you would not have known so much work had been done. We couldn't be happier!

This was a challenging job as the yard is covered with an overabundance of tree roots. The job was done by two workers who were knowledgeable in the installation of fence materials. They were friendly and congenial and asked how I wanted it done. Since I have two cats and a dog who like the outdoors, I explained this to them. They made sure that tree roots were cut so that the fence was installed close to the ground so the animals could not "escape." I was more that satisfied at the cost and workmanship by this company and would recommend them to all.

We have dealt with Mr. Stewart and his crew before and were extremely satisfied with their work (reviewed on 4/14/14). They had replaced about 60' of privacy fence along one side of our property. When it was time to replace the other side (a somewhat longer run) we automatically called Affordable Fences back. We did not seek quotes from other vendors because we knew we would be very happy with their work.
The installation was more difficult than anticipated due to ground conditions but there was never any complaint or discussion of a price adjustment. They even replaced a double gate that they had previously installed in the old fence. It had sagged due to wet ground and not because any any workmanship issues. We have the highest regard for Mr. Stewart and his men. They are prompt, courteous, very professional, take great pride in their work, and care about the customer's satisfaction. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Great experience! Charlie was able to meet me on short notice to provide quotes for both of my homes. Work was started a week earlier than expected! How often does that happen?! The crew was punctual and respectful of my property. They adapted to a few last minute changes due to snafus with the flanking neighbors. There was no interruption of work, so the job was completed in a timely manner. The end result is beautiful, everything I expected, and makes for happy tenants! Can't wait to have them install decorative fence and gates at my personal residence.

After calling several fence companies, I was very frustrated.  Of the 5 places I contacted, 3 never returned calls, 1 provided an outrageous quote, and one did not show up on the agreed upon date to finalize the contract.  Then - I found Charlie and Affordable Fences.  Charlie stopped by on the same day I called hime and provided a quote.  We agreed on a price and schedule, which due to his prior commitments, was about 4 weeks out.  After my previous experiences, I was skeptical.  Charlie called about a week and half later to say he had an opening, showed up that day and completed the work.  The fence and gate look GREAT and I am extremely pleased  with Charlie's work and professionalism.

I called Affordable Fences and I spoke  to Charlie about the  gate post being broken off below ground and the gate needing to be replaced.  Charlie gave me an estimate over the phone and he said since it was a smaller job, he could work it in around his bigger jobs.  He would do the work within 7 days.  Charlie called me back three days later, he and his crew were at my house and ready to do the work.  The final cost of the work was very close to his estimate.  When I arrived home from work, the new post and new gate was installed and functional.  Charlie's crew actually built the new gate when they arrived at my house.  The yard was clean and tidy after they left.  Charlie called me two days later to see if I was satisfied with their work and to settle the bill.  Charlie honored the Angie's List coupon which made their work an even better deal.  I would highly recommend Affordable Fences.  They do good work for a reasonable price.

We contacted three fencing contractors for estimates. One did not return my call, one made an appointment to give me an estimate but never showed up, and the third was Charlie Stewart from Affordable Fences. He showed up for the estimate when he said he would. We wanted an old privacy fence replaced along one side of our back yard, a single gate replaced by a double gate on the other side, and a leaning fence post replaced. Charlie asked questions, took some measurements, and gave me a quote. He said the job would take two days. I told him that I would get back to him since I was waiting for another contractor to give me a quote. He was fine with that and said that he believed that his price was competitive. He said that he was pretty busy and it would take about three weeks before he could get to us. The third contractor did not show up (or even call to reschedule) so that made my decision easy. I called Charlie back and told him that we wanted Affordable Fences to do the work. He again said that it would take about three weeks and he would contact me a few days before they could begin the work.
Charlie contacted me on Monday of the third week and told me they would be able to start work on Thursday around 9:30 am. He and his men showed up on time and began to remove the old fence. I wanted to keep the old wood so they neatly stacked it in a corner of the yard. They worked quickly and efficiently, and by about 1:30 in the afternoon they had all of the new posts set, including the ones for the new double gate. They came back the next morning and installed the fence boards. They do not use pre-built sections. The double gate was also built to meet our specific requirements.
When the work was completed I was asked if I was satisfied and I said yes. We could not be happier with the work. The fence is solidly built, plumb, level, and square. The lead man on the job, Mr. Shepherd, has probably forgotten more about fence building than most people could hope to learn in a lifetime. They hand carried all material from the front of the house to the back so our lawn did not get damaged. They picked up all debris, even small wood chips and stray bits of hardware. We would absolutely recommend Affordable Fences to anyone looking for quality work.

I'm very pleased with what I got. They were very courteous and prompt, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Promptly built while I was out of town at Christmas.  Fence looks great.  Caveat:  Check gauge of chain link material.  Mine is too light weight and posts too far apart which allow dogs to squeeze under it.  This was in order to contain costs, and to remove easily This was an unexpected skill on the part of my dogs!

The absolute best, they did everything they promised and finished early. I would and will highly recommended Affordable Fence.

They did a great job! They were prompt and courteous. They came out right away to give us an estimate and scheduled the work once they ordered the materials needed.  It took about 4 hours. We are very satisfied with their service.
