STEELY ELECTRICAL SVC

Jon was on time, polite and completed all repairs in under an hour. Steely did a great job and we will hire them again if we need an electrician in the future.

The price was reasonable. It was not outrageously expensive. He gives me a time frame so he does work within that time frame. He does excellent work. When he had to do the work, it lasts. I do not have to call him back to redo it or anything like that.

Steely first repaired the doorbell over a year ago. A few months later, the front doorbell wasn't working; he returned to replace the "transformer" and also did a few more little electrical things, added a light in the attic.  A few days ago, I noticed after friends visited that the doorbell mechanism in the house was buzzing. I called on Thursday and his cell phone would ring multiple times then switch off. I called this past Friday explained the issue with the doorbell; and he indicated he would stop by on Saturday and would call 30 minutes prior to his arrival. I waited most of the day and then finally called around 2 pm and the phone call did not go through. It would ring several times then click off; it did not go to voice mail. I called using both my landline and cell phone and it was the same outcome...no answer, or voicemail.. Bottom line, find another competent electrician. This company is NOT reliable. The phone line given does not work and he appears to be non-responsive and has poor manners.

The end result was one light that doesn't dim properly and one that turns into a strobe light whenever the main kitchen light is on at the same time. We called them three days in a row to arrange for them to correct the problem. They kept giving us the run around. One day they said they would be at our home at 1:00 so we rushed to get here for them and they never showed nor called. When we called them they said they were busy with no apologies.
They really didn't display any professionalism at all. We have hired another electrical company to correct the mistakes that will allow us to actually have two lights on at the same time without the whole strobe effect.

He is an excellent electrician. He was timely, and the price was good. I would recommend him to others. This is the second time I have used them.

We had lost all electrical power on half the residence and believed the problem was in the electrical panel. John came to the house and found that an single ground wire had come lose from an oulet and killed the power on that circuit. John fixed the issue and charged me an fair fee for his time and effort. I have used John Steely in the past and will use him in the future. I have always found him very personable, fair and willing to explain each issue, sharing his extensive electrical knowledge.

Provider responded to our initial call within the hour. Arrived the next morning promptly at 8, as promised. Professional, easy to work with, accommodated all our initial and our add-on requests. As the day progressed, we thought of additional issues that needed attention, from broken ceiling fan switches to street lamp malfunction to basement lighting and electrical circuitry requirements in our 40 year old home. They assessed all issues, purchased all materials needed, stayed and worked steadily until all work was finished. Clean up was excellent. Invoicing was clear and thorough. Total cost was very reasonable.
We will use this provider again and have recommended him to our friends and family. Thanks, Angie!

The job went exceptionally well from start to finish!

Arrived at promised time. Located the problem . Acted in a very professional and courteous manner. Quickly replaced the bulbs and presented invoice for payment. No time was wasted. This service is AAA as far as I am concerned.

Mr. Steely was on his way immediately and had everything completed in no time at all. The dishwasher works and we will call in Steely Electrical Service again when we have any other electrical issues.
