Phillip was very responsive and quick to give me an estimate to replace two HVAC systems that were 22 years old. His estimate for two 16 SEER units was 10-15% cheaper than other Trane and Carrier dealers and close to the estimates for inferior budget systems. He also gave me a deal on replacing my water heater with a new tankless Rinnai. Phillip, his father, and their assistant did the entire job in about 2.5 days. They were very friendly and professional, paid close attention to details, and did a good job of cleaning up when they left. Now in the dead of August, my HVAC is working flawlessly.

From the first phone call, to the on site visit/proposal, though scheduling and installation, Southern Air Solutions was professional in every way. Mr. Gaskins and his son were courteous, professional, and prompt. We were on tight time frames, and Mr. Gaskins worked with a sense of urgency toward meeting our time frames. There were some technical questions we had regarding which unit to select, and how to address some existing problems...Mr. Gaskins patiently and thoroughly advised on our concerns. When comparing his proposal against others, it was reasonable. He did was he said he would do, when he said he would do it, with no problems whatsoever. We could not ask for any more than that. Happy to have found Southern Air Solutions!

I had a frustrating, uncomfortable experience in that my AC failed-- it just shut down and wouldn't work on a hot Saturday evening!!But Michael and Phillip, father and son, respectively, of Southern Air Solutions worked very well to resolve the issue in a reasonable timeframe.  They even provided me with a temporary window unit to hold me until the final repair was made.  Able to diagnose the problem and resolve it quickly, I am extremely confident they will resolve any issues you may have with your HVAC. I really don't know what else to say, except they get an A+ rating as far as I'm concerned!!!

Trustworthy, knowledgeable, dependable! Our current AC was not cooling our house. Had several HVAC companies troubleshoot the problem and all had different suggestions. Being discouraged I google searched and read excellent reviews for Southern Air Solutions I called and spoke to Philip. He took the time, listened and explained what he thought was the problem. He was knowledgeable and thorough and promptly sent me product information that I requested. Southern Air installed a newly energy efficient AC inside and out. They were personable and easy to work with.  They came out the next day and were punctual.  They explained what was wrong and what was replaced.  They explained that I would receive a bill for the part by email.  I would definitely call them again.

There was something wrong with my heater, which I pointed out. He said, "Well, next time you notice your heater doing the same problem, call me and I'll come back." It was summer time and it was hot and I was using my A/C. The A/C was what went out. He said that it was something like a sensor because when I turn the heat on, the fan doesn't automatically start up, unless you press the fan to 'ON'. I did that of course, when I needed heat. But then, no heat was coming out at all. So, I called them, a couple of times and they would never even return my call. I was going to try to call them again. But, I'm afraid that they're going to charge me a whole lot more now. He could have fixed it then and there. He did fix the air conditioning part, but he didn't fix the heater part. I did have to pay for the part. The guy that came out was very professional and very nice.

Southern Air Solutions installed a new HVAC system and disposed of my older system.  Their estimate was better than what I received from other companies.  Once started, the installation went smoothly from start to finish.  Mr. Gaskin and his son did a great installation job and they were very courteous, explained everything about the operations of the system before leaving.

Deal was for service call and one hour of service. Was told by Mr. G that the $29 only covered the service call and the repair would be a "little bit more". He was here only 15 minutes. Applied about 36" of tape to a cooling duct and charged me $100. This was an excessive amount of money when the "repair" should have been included in the "Angie's deal".

2 technicians showed up. Very courteous and professional. They found a defective capacitor in the outside condenser, replaced the part and the system was back up and running in 45 min!
I was explained the problem, presented the bill on an ipad, paid on the spot and received a quick email confirmation.

Good experience overall. The tech/owner seemed very knowledgeable and pointed out all the things that could be problematic in my system, so in the future I would be able to troubleshoot it myself. He did talk about offering/getting a new HVAC system(mine is 11 years old) but never pressured me into doing anything. Would definitely hire again.
