When I went to have the new floor laid down this year, I found that they had stapled the old floor down and then laid two new layers on top, and that's why it bubbled again because it was never laid down properly. I had no idea until another company putting the new ceramic tile told me. I understand that you can put layers on top of one another but not when the first layer wasn't laid properly in the first place. When I contacted Palmetto to rip up the old one they said they would only do it if I hired them to do the ceramic job as well, otherwise they wouldn't help me. I would be happy to update my review if the company were to honor their rate of $120 to take up the flooring properly and doing a nice job at it.
Description of Work: I purchased my house brand new in 2005. 3-4 months into the home, the linoleum in the kitchen was bubbling up. They came over to repair it but we were not home at the time of the repair. 6 months later it was bubbling again. At that time they told me that the year warrenty was up.
