Nick's Plumbing

He is a great plumber. I have used him since my next door neighbor recommened him. I have lived here since 1998. I  first used Crowley's Plumbing. Their work is not good and they charge a ridiculously high amount of money just to come out.
I changed to Nick after my next door neighbor told me about him. He is great. He never charges me more than $45 for a generally small repair job to my bathroom sink, toilet or kitchen plumbing. 
He is the best. I will neverr use anyone else.
I am 72 years old and disabled. Maybe he knows that and that is why he charges me less.
He also has a great personality. 
News update:
Nick is leaving Hartsville for Charleston. His wife was transferred on her job there and he got a new job at The College of Charleston. What a loss for me and this city!
I saw him last night in a restaurant as he was in town trying to sell his house. He gave me the names of two other plumbers I could try with him being gone.

This was installation of new water line and hookup to a new home.  We had a plumbing company known well in Hartsville to install it, but was having water problems underneath the home.  Called Nicks, and he came out to determine the problem.  Found out that the other company installed the water line incorrectly.  It was not up to code, most the pipe was not insulated, and had leaks at the connections.  Nicks removed the problem areas, brought the pipe connect up to code, and insulated everything.  We have also used Nicks at my parents home, in which they fixed a leaking sink.  A+++++  for this company.  Will not use anyone else but NIcks!

The plumber we use is Nick Bataller.  It was a small job.  He's always been very good about coming.  His prices are reasonable and he seems to do good work.  We really don't have any complaints about Nick at all.

He is always there when I need him and the quality of work is excellent.

They did a good job at fair price when they did a water heater.  I asked them to put in a toilet a while later and found that their pricing was much higher than other estimates.  Before using them again in the future I will definitely compare their pricing with other companies.

I was satisfied with the work they did. They were very responsive in answering phone calls and messages. Nick was very knowledgeable and polite. Overall they did a very good job.

We didn't a call when the plumber was going to be out. It was all unexpected and he was really rude. I had told him that my husband wanted to speak to him about what he had done and what it was doing and he blew it off and said, " That's fine, I've fixed it." He left to go and get a part, and left my door open (when it was really cold outside and I have small children). He was gone about 5-10 minutes then return without knocking , walked in the house , leaving the door opened and went to the bathroom to finish the repair. When he was "done" he , " Okay, that's it." He didn't even tell me what he had done so that my husband would know. At least he shut the door when he left... I guess. I would definitely not recommend this repair servicer to anyone else.
