Completely satisfied with Lowcountry Roofing. Replaced my roof in June, 2021. Communication with Chance, the owner, was excellent throughout. The roofing crew was efficient and worked well as a team. Arrived at 7 am and had completed the job by 4 pm. Cleanup was thorough and crew was gone by 5 pm. Roof looks great and has performed well.

I had paid in full before the job was completed. After the job was completed by a third party specializing in metal roofs I submitted paperwork to Chance Nyman to be completed so I could submit it to my insurance company for a small reduction in my annual home insurance every year going forward. Chance refused to complete the paper work that needed to be completed by the contractor. So, I continue paying my insurance without the qualifying discount. I would suggest you get everything you need from this company before they are paid in full. I would not recommend using Low Country Roofing as once you have paid you will not get any further cooperation from Chance ( that was my experience anyway). I have no complaints about the third party that put my new metal roof. I am happy with the roof. I am not happy with the service provided by Low Country Roofing.

I would recommend and use Chance again.

OUTSTANDING!!! I would hire this time again. I have a very large house (4200 sq feet). The Team started at 0630 and finished at 1630. By looking at my yard you cannot tell that I had a roof replaced. None of my landscaping was damaged. All roofing debris and roofing nails were removed.

Chance was very responsive and tremendous to work with. We flew in from out of town for the roof replacement and needed it done quickly. His team has worked together for a long time and they were very efficient. They started at 7 am and were done by 1 pm. They did an excellent job cleaning everything up, including sweeping the area with a magnet to pick up any stray nails. I would most definitely use this company again.

Owner Chance was able to explain the scope of work in clear detail with identification of all materials and installation process to be used. His team of nine showed up on time, worked very hard from start to finish and delivered an outstanding new roof. They cleaned up meticulously. I was able to get every question I had answered in the process. This was a terrific experience from start to finish and I highly recommend this company to everyone. While his bid was not the lowest the quality, level of workmanship and attention to detail made this the wisest choice by far.

The owner promptly returned my call. He knowledgeable explained options for roofing and drew up an aerial of my metal roof on my 1890 home. He knowledgeably understood what the architectural review board would allow and guided my choices, gave me advice on short term and long term costs. I went away and did research with other contractors and found his reputation solid and his info spot on. I hired him. He cave me a reasonable date explained the weather related issue. The crew was friendly helpful, neat and self initiating. They came in worked long and did an excellent job. Chance stopped by numerous times during the week to check in and explain things to me. This guy takes pride in his work. He gets right back to you. You don't pay until you are satisfied with the job. I got exactly what I wanted and it was hassle free. Thank you LowCountry !

I am an architect and general contractor in Florida. I have owned a rental house on Isle of Palms for many years but have not needed a roofer. I tried Angie's List for the first time since all the recommendations I had gotten from neighbors and the management company either didn't respond or didn't have Workers Compensation insurance (very important). After a thorough review on Angie's List I narrowed my choices to three before even asking for bids. Chance (Lowcountry Roofing) was the most convincing, responsive and still competitive. He examined the site and adjusted his delivery method. Chance called me repeatedly with scheduling including a one day delay for weather. I was informed at the beginning, mid-point and end of the job. The work was excellent with minimal inconvenience to my client. Cleanup was thorough. Chance did the work as promised on schedule and with no additional charges.

We had a very good experience with them. They had good reviews. I trusted the owner.

The experience could not have been smoother. The team was there working at 7 a.m. and to our amazement done shortly after noon. This included complete replacement of all the fascia boards, as well as a thorough cleanup. To be honest, I was dreading some complication, whether major or minor. In actuality, it was a cakewalk. Just fine. I was impressed at how quickly they were able to do the job and how well they cleaned up afterwards. I'm no expert on roof quality, but they used high quality materials and the final product looks excellent!

They told me they would come out and take care of it. They came out a few days later and repaired that corner! Not only did they take care of that one spot, they looked over the whole roof to make sure all was good. Just a handshake. No charge. A+. Highly recommended!

Other then there lack of contacting you once they have your contract there done with you. I'm used to good customer service there work is number 1 but the sales man or the office staff are not customer service oriented .

I don't have any experience to really compare to another roofer. I would refer them to a friend.

We delayed it, this was after the hurricanes and they were pretty busy. He came with samples, and explained everything. He gave us samples, and explained the samples. Gave us colored brochures, and on those brochures, made sure we knew their product line, and the way their employees are trained, and certified. It was fine, no problems. Comparable to others. We could have had it cheaper, and went with an cheaper product, but we chose to go with the better product. This is the first time I dealt with an insurance company,  I thought, we get appraisal first. We got some cheaper appraisal, but I did not feel like I wanted to go with an lesser product on an roof. I could have went cheaper, and he would have given me an cheaper one too. I wanted the better grade product, and someone certified by the company. I can go buy roof tiles, and if I don't do it right, its not warranted. Some of these companies, the roof failed in seven years. They are long gone, product is gone, or both. I wanted someone in the area, lived in the area. Kind of like your car, not everyone going to fix your car.

They did a good job. We have had a lot of roofs, because we have hurricanes here. I have seen a lot of companies do some really nasty work. They did a really really good job. They are all certified. The gentlemen who did ours, I want to give a shout out. He did a really good job. The guy was Chance Nyman. He did our house, and the crew was really really good. Defiantly would recommend him. I know other people who do it. The crew we had did our roof init one day. They covered everything. They cover the bushes,  They cleaned up everything. I do mean everything. They knew we had an new ac unit, and make sure it was covered. I had statuary in my garden, and they made sure to move them, and they are heavy, to keep it from getting broken. Had a glass patio add on, which is easy to get damaged. Has glass on three sides, no problems there. Arrived on time, They started to work on time. completed on time. The quality of the work was extremely good. My husband actually built our shed, and knows how to do the work, but can't, and he is pretty fancy. He was watching them. The supplies came the day before, and was cover up in our drive way. No problems. I got a neighbor it took them three to four day to complete, and their work isn't as good as the work they do. His crew and the crew he hired was defiantly really skilled labor. Quality well. One guy worked continuously. Didn't break every five minutes, or disappear, or anything. Out with blowers, metal detectors. Getting any pieces of plastic and paraphernalia. They had to come in the house. They noticed an pipe coming out was crooked, and they notified us, we need to come in the house, and need to fix it. They came in, and went into the crawl way, and fixed it. Made sure no leaking, or no possibility of a leak. The owner came out and double checked on the crew. He basically walked the house, made sure it was under mid construction, and if he saw anything, he let them know right away. He walked with us outside, and said to look at everything, to step back, and do you see anything, and this was before they left. They followed up. Told us what he was going to do before hand. They brought samples to us. We paid slightly more, but we did upgrade the product line, in comparison, I just think they did a really good job. They made sure anyone can put a shingle up, he has been doing it for so long, he said if you have any issues, you call me. The people have high standards, and certifications, and so does he. So they are all better business bureaus, great feedback. They did our shed out back. They completed it, came by seven, gone by five. The house was done. Everything was set up. The guy dropped the materials the day before, staged the shingles the day before. They started at seven, and no break, no fifteen minute break. They arrived on time, and left on time. We had people in the neighborhood, the quality of work was not that great. We got all the paper work, that was mailed in from the roofing company. If the other stuff with material is not put on, its not warranted. They pay for the work permits too. That was posted on the door. We upgraded the materials quite a bit. All high grade products. We covered up boards. Six sheets no charge. Twelve foot sheets. Did work on top of our house, when they took it out, they showed us what they did. They used timberline shingles. The house and shed is with the same stuff. I could not ask for an more pleasant experience. I wouldn't want to stay in the house if they did it again. They painted all the pipes, the ridge vents, gold pledge manufactured warranty, which is transferable if we sell the house. If they do it. We have recommended them to our neighbor, and they are comfortable with their price and product. They were already under contract. Our friend has a bigger house, and we recommended them. That would be a twenty five thousand dollar project. Our house is like their garage. Defiantly happy with them. Would use them again in an heartbeat.
