Low Country Contractors

We hired Low Country Contractors (LCC) to do a TOTAL renovation of our home in September 2021. It took more than twice as long as they told us and it was never quite finished. The entire process was a nightmare. We agree with every negative review of LCC that we have read in various places. To make it short and sweet, this was our experience: > Communication was non-existent. > Craftsmanship was poor. Things had to be done multiple times and they didn't seem to care whether or not it was done well. > Promises were made and never kept. > Multiple vendors told us that they were not paid on time or at all by LCC, adversely impacting our project. > LCC management was disrespectful in their interaction with us. > They were dishonest and unprofessional throughout the project. > The things that LCC DID excel at were lying and making excuses. We eventually cut ties with them even though the renovation was never really finished. Our advice... Do not go near them with a 10-foot pole. FYI... The glowing testimonial video on the company's website features members of the owner's family. BUYER BEWARE!
