Well Pets Veterinary Clinic

She was in perfect health had 4 infected teeth and many other loose teeth ( total of 13 ) I believe.. did fine.but thirty minutes before I was to pick her up vet called said I needed to get her to emergency hospital quickly.we went straight there. Vet tech bought her out wrapped in a towel blood all over her face near death gurgling and handed me a few gauze squares and we sped off.. got her to emergency hospital around 5:00 she was put in an oxygen box and a few hrs later her dr showed us a picture she looked good was sitting up in her box.. her X-rays showed one lung filled with fluid the other some fluid.. we left thinking the next afternoon we would be bringing her home... they called 5:30 am and said she was not going to make it.. my Sophie died in my arms . The dr at well pets could not even take the time to bring Sophie out to the car nor show any professionalism about her condition..it appears to me they got water into her lungs from cleaning. I’ve lost my beloved pet 4 wks after losing our 32 yr old grandson. I’m so angry hurt and sad.. but never will my future pets go to well pets in Irmo sc . Oh and by the way before I could leave to get her to emergency hospital they needed me to pay the 800 + dollars for teeth cleaning.. how’s that for professionalism?

They cleaned the wound and gave her a shot and she has been great since. Everything went as well as we could have hoped for. It was also 1000x better and easier than using the Emergency vet on a Sunday.

The employees are very rude and cold towards you during a emergency situation. My dog stopped using his back legs and stopped eating so we rushed him to Well Pets. Nobody came out to help get him out of the car and took 5 minutes to get service. If you’re not one of their regulars with a lot of money you get treated like the bottom of the barrel. Never saw a veterinarian and was told to go somewhere else. Long story short in this emergency my dog had cancer and had to be put to sleep at a different veterinarian office. This place has POOR business practices and really bad customer service to turn away a dying dog. I highly recommend that you do not take your pets here. Save yourself the time, frustration and money and find yourself another vets office that won’t turn a dying family member and has compassion for both of you (since this happened on Mother’s Day).

The doctor was caring and courteous. I was able to get the same day evening appointment. My dog ended up having his surgery there couple of weeks later. All went very well. The doctor and the staff kept me informed throughout the entire process. Highly recommend.

They were on the ball. Got us in and out in less than an hour.

They’re good. I didn’t have to sit out there long. When they got me in they had the veterinarian doctor come right in, looked at it, she made a diagnosis, got me some medicine and I was out of there in 30 to 45 minutes. They could have cooked me a steak!

They’re great, they’re great people. They were just thorough and came out with a diagnosis and a schedule for treatment. The waiting area is fine, it’s good. I’ve been using them for years.

Their customer service has gone done and the price has gone up. My dog had a UTI and they tried to sell me on some surgery.  They do x-rays but they didn't do x-rays, that was just a checkup and they had do draw some blood out of her. They made sure it was a UTI and not something else. They'll get in you there but it will cost you an arm and a leg.

I very please they are open for Urgent Care. Our dog was sick and I called and they stayed later to bring our dog in. There very professional and polite. I find them extremely trustworthy. Also the groomer is excellent. She's sweet and caring with our dog. Our dog is not fond of the dryer.

My dog is arthritic. She had a leg injury when she was a puppy. When I first got her, she was four days old and I got into a car accident. She hurt her leg. She's well and healthy for a long time. It costed me $60 for 60 days of supplies. I don't have a specific vet there because she has been seen by several vets. All of them are very understanding. If I cannot meet certain monetary things, they try to give me alternatives. At one point, I wanted to get her teeth cleaned and there's another place that I thought that could have done it for a little bit less. They offered to give me the blood work and the other things that I needed to take her to the other place because I couldn't afford to have her teeth done there. They're very willing to work with me. Their first concern is not the money but for the people to be able to get the help that they need. The vets are very gentle with the animals. My dog shakes from the time she goes in there to the time she goes out. I have a red German Sheperd mix. She is a very sweet dog but she is scared of thunderstorms. They're all very sweet with her. When she hides under the bench, they don't try to pull her out. I would use them again in the future.

Oh this is the best vet out there. We got in really fast and they checked both our dogs in a timely manner and with such dog loveness. Our one dog is very skittish and they work with her very well. Their equiptment seems very up to date and their way wth your dogs is super. The vet had an assistant to help and she was like the dog whisperer. Our dog had a shot up her nose, medicine in her ear, and a slide taken of her growth. Our other dog has paw issues and the docyor spoke to us in detail of what we could do to help with this problem. Very affordable, very caring and they will be our vet as long as we live here.

My pet was very ill when I took him to this office. The staff was wonderful and kept me very informed on what the problem was and what types of treament it would include. The gave for a up front quote of the approx. cost which for all the did I think was really reasonable. Very Caring. Great Vet!

The lobby was clean and spacious. The staff very friendly. The wait was short and the technician was thorough and happy to.answer our questions about our rescue dog. The vet was compassionate and thorough. Overall a very good experience even with a very nervous little dog

We were in and out of the office quickly. The staff is always very friendly. The cats were due for their annual vaccinations and one of the cats had a cold. This was the first time we brought our cats here, but have been bringing our dogs here for about 2 years. Every experience is always pleasant. The prices are better than the other veterinarians in the area as well.

I was referred to this clinic by my boss who has used them before. She said that the doctors don't charge astronomical rates. I brought all three of my animals to get their yearly shots here and it only cost me about $200 for two dogs and a cat. One of my dogs had an ear infection, so they treated it in office and scheduled a two-week follow up. Both doctors are amazing and work very well with my difficult dog. I brought my difficult dog, Bacchus, in because he was bleeding from his noses. Dr. Graham was amazing with him! Kristen, the Vet Tech is also amazing. We had to take him back in so he could be put under for further study of his nose and sinus passages and they said he didn't give them any trouble at all. Dr. Peeler did his procedure and said they couldn't find anything, but his bloodwork showed that he has some form of cancer. They completely understand we can't afford the costly procedures to keep him with us. Everyone has been so sympathetic to our needs, I highly recommend them! an
