Sapphire Signature Pools LLC

The gunite pool was completed over the winter of 2010/2011.  The concrete had spray deck and stain applied in May 2016.  The pool is currently undergoing re-tiling and re-plastering because the tile was falling off and the plaster bubbled.  The concrete stain bubbled within 2 weeks of a application and the spray deck is peeling off in sheets.  When notified at the onset of the problems Sapphire Pools stated that they would acid wash and re-do the pool deck (11 months ago).  They said there was no problem with the pool plaster itself. Nothing was ever done.  The pool and deck continued to deteriorate. Recently Sapphire Pools was provided photographs.  They do not respond.  I do not recommed the company.

I would not recommend them to anybody. The owner contracts everything out and is not an experienced pool installer, just a sales person. He made a few mistakes in the design of my pool which is causing problems with liner and grading of property.

Sapphire Pools accepted work to open a residential pool for the summer. In the course of opening the pool, Sapphire or its subcontractor broke an underground pipe/fitting connecting a pool jet to the main pump. Other than initially acknowledging that they broke the pipe/fitting, Sapphire or its subcontractor left the job and for several weeks did not contact us about repairing the damage and did not offer to fix their damage, or even propose a settlement or other accommodation for their damage. They just disappeared. Only after repeated calls did Sapphire then claim that it had subcontracted the work, had no responsibility for its subcontractors, and would not pay for the damage. At no time did Sapphire ever state that it would use subcontractors to do work, and even if it did, the responsibility is on a contractor for the work of its subcontractors. Sapphire Pools claimed that arranging the repair and the cost ($600.000) to fix their damage and get the pool opened is our cost, not theirs. Sapphire's personnel were less than courteous or helpful. To date, Sapphire has not paid for its damage/negligence nor has it even offered to settle. The Pool was eventually repaired at our cost using other providers. I would never again use or recommend this Company. Customer Beware!!

They were the lowest of three bids for the job, but there was only a $300 difference from the highest bidder. I went with Brian and Jan because they had a down home kind of feel to them. I ended up getting an upgrade in the material. The fit is perfect. The all important prep work was well done. There were inevitable delays so the job was finished about two weeks late. In April I was in no great hurry, but I would have appreciated a little more communication.That is probably the only real fault I can find.
