The move went as planned but the damage to items was significant to many items of furniture, the home gym, yard equipment, concrete planters and outdoor grill. He did pay a furniture repair guy a minimal amount ($80.00 according to the repair guy) to repair deep scratches in the top of our formal dining room table. The repair looked worse than the damage and we ended up paying  almost a thousand dollars to get it repaired properly. When trying to talk to Fred about the home gym (a $5000.00 top of the line Trotter home gym), he made very condescending remarks about how my wife would not be able to work out. Boohoo, he said. At that point I hung up and moved on. I had paid him $600.00 extra to move it and that is all I wanted him to do was refund the extra I paid him to move it if he could not repair it. He did make an effort to find the part they broke but could not. 
I have moved many times in my life and understand that things can and will happen when moving. It is the way that Fred chose to handle the two things I asked him to make good on that I feel was very disappointing and unprofessional. I accepted the chunks knocked out of table legs, parts broken off of yard equipment, broken concrete planters and scratches to misc other items from the move and the way they piled some items in storage. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again.
