Phone courtesy and price got us in the door, excellent service will keep us coming back. Donnie answered every question. They made accommodations to put the tires on quickly although they were already busy. Fast, efficient, and everyone in the waiting room was also smiling. Going to give them car repair work too!

I like that they are family oriented.  I have gone to them for two years. 

They are outstanding.  They fix it the same day they get it if possible and their price is reasonable.

We have used them for service/tires on 2 personal vehicles for several years now ('05 Honda and '00 Nissan). My place of work also uses them for service/tires on 3 vehicles.  They are a no-nonsense outfit, and we have no complaints about their service.  We feel we are in good hands.   Occasionally they have been able to give us a less expensive temporary "bandaid" on less vital repairs until such time as we can afford to do a bigger repair.  We appreciate that a lot.

They are good. They did some work on my car and they did a good job. I had no issues. They were timely and finished the job when they said they would. The quality of their work is excellent.

When I moved back to the Columbia area in 2004, I was glad to hear from my partner that he has used and been so happy for years with Irmo Tire and Auto. Going to Billy and Donnie has been the best service and feeling that I and my car and my expenses are cared for. I was glad to recommend to my son when he would be traveling from out of town and visiting me to also have his car care done with Irmo Tire. Am so glad to know a local, family business so successful and pleasant to work with. We have been using Irmo Tire for all our car care needs for 20 years. They always stand behind their work. Several years ago they had to change an alternator in one of our cars and then we moved out of state. A few months later the alternator went out and they gave us a ful refund via mail. Of course when we moved back to Irmo we went back to using Irmo Tire. They go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and they treat all their customers like family.

I visited because of their good rating here, but my experience was completely different. 3 visits total, my vehicle still has problems and I will not give them a fourth try. Had rear brakes inspected and both brakes repaired ($300). Afterward the front end shook like the wheels were coming off -went back. Was told it was a stuck caliper and was nothing unusual ($65). 3 days later the front started shaking again -went back. All four tires balanced and a brake line replaced.($84). Front end still vibrates and the front wheel gets very hot while driving -too hot to even touch the rim. Over $400 spent, a nasty vibration in the front and large grooves forming in the rotors. Several other things were noticed after work was finished -minor details but telling about the quality of workmanship of this shop. First, the lug nuts were tightened so tight that there would have been no way I could have changed a tire (with the tools in the vehicle) were I stranded alongside the highway. Second, they charged me for a brake reservoir cap which THEY had misplaced while doing the previous work. I found the cap, where they had placed it -on top the manifold. Third, I noticed that the dust caps for the brake bleeder screws were missing -fomr when the brakes were bled. These are all things that don’t seem important immediately, yet could ALL cause major problems later on. This shop is very busy and does not seem to interested in the reliabiltiy of the work performed. If you have a vehicle that you need to rely on each day, I recommend a different shop.

They do great work. If you don't need something done, they will let you know. They are extremely honest and fair. They will always check over the entire car when you come in.

I finally found a fairly-priced, honest shop! It's obviously family-run. I've used them twice now. Most all the big shops now days press their people to upsell anything they can to any unsuspecting customer. It seems that vurtually every chain or franchise store is bent on squeezing all they can out of a customer. I dont get a sense of that with these folks.

The first time I took my truck in, they told me nothing was wrong with it, even though it felt like someone had stuck a potato in my tail pipe. They reset the engine light and sent me on my way. The second time I took my truck in for the same problem, they told me I needed a new catalytic converter and I left my truck with them. Then they called me and told me I needed two catalytic converters. Then they told me that they don't do the work there, and they send it to another shop. When I got my truck back, I had a severe rattle in my exhaust line. So I took it back. When they "fixed it" I picked the truck up and it was good for about three days, then the rattle returned. So I took it back. Then they said they would replace the whole exhaust pipe. When I went to pick it up, I asked what they did and what the problem was. They told me they didn't know. They did not try to apologize for the inconvenience, or even empathize with me. When I got home, I jacked the truck up and looked for myself. The welds were poorly done and it looked like they put epoxy on one of the bad welds. My truck exhaust line still rattles when I back up, but I can't bring myself to take it back. On top of everything, I told them (and paid) to change my oil while they had it. Two weeks after I got my truck back the final time, my change oil light came on, and when I took it elsewhere to have the oil changed, they told me that it appeared that my oil hadn't been changed for a while.

I like this company because of their convenience as they allow me to drop my vehicle off and pick it up when it s ready. They then bill me with the cost of the work. This place is very trustworthy and it is family owned. They are efficient and only use the best parts for their work.
