As a seller, I will say Kevin pointed out most of the repairs that needed to be done. However, after the inspection was completed. I went to check out the attic of my home and noticed none of the light bulbs were working, so im hitting switches, checking breakers, and come to find out the lightbulbs had been unscrewed -- I imagine this happened while checking the wiring at the time of inspection. The lightbulbs were NOT screwed back in all the way - just hanging from the fixture, which is a fire hazard. Overall, im satisfied with the inspection. However, creating a fire hazard in a home thats unoccupied and under contract is highly concerning. Thankfully, I checked behind my well reputable inspector. Best Regards,

I paid this company to do an inspection on my new home purchase. It was completed. And I agreed on repairs with the home saler. The saler stated that things were repaired. Home inspection one stated that they saw the repairs and signed off on them. Come to find out they were never fixed correctly and wasn't inspected, but this company signed and said different. I recently noticed that these iusses are causing more problems now and lots more money! As a 100% disabled combat veteran I am very disappointed that I was taking advantage of. All Fellow veterans and local public please be advise to not trust this company. I have paper work, pictures etc. To back all this up

Home had been under contract prior to our offer and deal had fallen through after the previous buyers' inspection and requested repairs had been completed. Our inspector from Home Inspection One found additional items that previous inspector had missed, and made sure we were aware of repairs that were apparent when he inspected the crawlspace. (He had no prior knowledge of what repairs had been made, and he found and noted all of the repairs that had been done after the previous buyer's inspection.) Very approachable and professional. The report received was shorter than we anticipated, presumably because of the items addressed after the other inspection.

Kip was incredibly professional and easy to talk with. He was clear on what all he did and what all he saw. He provides a notebook with pictures to back up all his findings. He provides a phone number and states if you have any follow up questions to feel free to call him. I was very happy with his presentation and the advise he had to give, and I feel confident in his work. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

He was recommended by our realtor, showed up when he was scheduled to, went right to work, and even got on the roof to check that.  Went into the attic, under the back deck, places I would not have thought to look.  He printed the report from his work truck, put it in a binder and went through it with us.  We were not rushed, and he gave plenty of suggestions on how to go about getting the problems fixed.

Although he did a complete inspection on this home I was purchasing back in July of 2011, I had no reason to doubt his inspection.  He had done a great job of inspecting the home I was selling in order to get this home.  However, in September of 2012, I had reason to go under this new home that Kip had inspected. I was beyond SHOCKED to discover one of the original piers simply laying on its side underneath the house.  Two jacks and two stacks of concrete blocks stood in the original pier's place, but Kip had made absolutely no mention of his alteration in his report.  And this is a load-bearing wall.  He made no mention at all.  So, when revisiting my home today at my request following this discovery, he said he wasn't really required to inform me of any renovations, only if something was broken or not working.  He said he was sorry.  And that was it.  Had I known about this situation, it is possible I would not have purchased this home.  I am beyond disappointed (and now distrusting) of him.
