"The customer paid for a pool inspection not a leak detection. There was a 2ft tear in the corner of the liner which they wouldn't repair/ replace liner. With all the leaking water we lost chemicals which is very hard to keep clear in the South Carolina summer. This customer no longer lives at this house and was renting and we still take care of this pool!"
"We require all customers to pay in advance which she clearly did not. No pay no service. We offer multiple ways to pay and she couldn't produce. With all of our weekly maintance if some thing is broken like a Polaris we bring it to the shop diagnose and repair. A police report was never presented to us."
Now I don't have water moving in the pool and I suspect they made some changes at the pump that negatively affected the water flows. When this was pointed out, they said they no longer wanted to service my pool.
I've paid them $200.00 each month for a green pool! They started out really good, but but have gone downhill ever since. I have asked that all plumbing be returned to its original status, but I'm not sure they will do this.
I had repeatedly asked that they come to my home and meet with me, but they never did that. Also, the only way to communicate with them is through e-mail as they do not return phone calls.
My boyfriend and I had just moved in and had no knowledge of pool maintenance. We were set up for a bi-weekly cleaning, and were not aware of all the extra work we needed to do in between visits. Due to our lack of knowledge, the pool started to grow algae again. Since we were planning to have guests and use the pool, I called Jeff at the beginning of the week to see if they could come for an emergency visit.
They weren't able to come that week, so we never got the "emergency" in-between visit. I understand that they were booked up and just didn't have the availability. I did, however, have an issue with the way things proceeded from there. When they came by the following week, it was already on the week that they were scheduled for our normal bi-weekly service. I was still charged $20 extra, because Jeff considered it an "in-between" visit. I could have lived with that. HOWEVER, Jeff then took it upon himself to send someone back two days later, without consulting me first, and charged me $20 over the regular maintenance price AGAIN.
I called Jeff to inquire about the extra visit and extra chargers. First of all - it took him almost 2 weeks to call me back. When he finally did, he told me that had made the "executive decision" to send someone back because they thought my pool needed it. I also asked why I was charged an additional $20 on the second visit, and he said it was for the chemicals. I checked the slip that the water tech left for us, and all she added was a little bit of shock (which, by the way, we have our own in stock at our home). I got no response to this - just an additional invoice.
If I never had to deal with the manager, I would absolutely use their services again. We were very happy with the water techs that came to our home. Unfortunately, he's the one who bills us, so I couldn't be sure that I would be able to avoid being over-charged or get additional service without my knowledge or consent.
"Since this we have changed all billing systems and customers are notified three times. The day prior, the morning of and when we are on our way. Now all customers are touched via email text and a phone call if disired."
