Have worked with Brabham Nursery for over 15 years--consistently excellent, honest, and available. Phi Hunnicut is most knowledgeable and can provide a number of residential or commercial services on landscaping, irrigation, and other aspects of keeping a yard. I can't recommend him any more highly. He's just fantastic. His son Joey works with him and his wife Donna is also in the family business.

We had what we call a backyard forest. There were a lot of smaller trees and brush that just made it impossible to do anything. We decided we wanted a nice backyard so our kids could play. When we first contacted Brabham's about a quote, they came out within 24 hours. We were so impressed with them that we never even got another quote from anyone else. We knew we found the right one the first time. I had been buying flowers from their nursery for years so it wasn't like I had never met them before. The first step was clearing out and disposing of all the brush/small trees. We only got rid of small tress that could be removed with a Bobcat. That was an all day job in itself. Brabham's had to subcontract out this part of the job but we paid them the same price they were charged. They also oversaw the project the entire day. We never dealt with anyone other than Brabham's. The following is what was done once that was complete: 10 tons of top soil, extra grading and more removal of rocks, 65 foot retaining wall, half circle wall around another tree, added 2 zones to the irrigation system, 5000 sq ft of sod, 105 bundles of pinestraw and added bushes/roses around the retaining wall. They also finished the second half of our playset that was built and put the landscape timbers around it and cedar mulch. From start to finish it took about 3 weeks. We had more rocks in our soil than anticipated and that slowed the irrigation addition.
I trust them completely and will be having them do more work for my family in the Spring. We did a large project with them and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They show up when they say, the crew is great and will stop to answer any questions you have.
They can handle any job whether it be large or small. We were fortunate to find a company that is honest and easy to work with. All I can say now is that our backyard looks gorgeous. Everyone who sees it is in awe and always asks who did the work.
