Rice Drywall

Mr. Rice showed up for work between 2 and 21/2 hours late most days, third day I called him at 11:30 and asked him if he was going to work he replied he had worked on another job till late the previous night I told him I wanted my job completed, he showed up at 3:00 and stayed till 5:15. the next day he said he had an appointment and didnot show up. Saturday he showed up at 12:15 after he promiced to be here at 9:00.
I had to continue to point out work he had done a bad job on and needed to be reworked. He painted the ceiling and got
roller overlap marks all over the house, and got paint all over my cedar moulding around my vaulted ceiling, this cannot be cleaned off without the moulding being removed and a lot of work on my part. I am having to rework some of his work now.
My wife finally said to pay him off and get him out of the house.
I hired him because of other reviews, They were completely off base hire at your own risk.

The provider came out and gave an estimate for the job, a price was agreed upon and a date set to do the job. On the day for the work to be done, he came at the appointed time and spent the morning doing the work. The next day he returned to do the sanding and finish work....he called first to say he would be delayed. He did complete the job, and I am very happy with the results and would recommend him to anyone who needs drywall work done!

We called him on a Saturday when we found a problem.  He came out on Sunday to look at it and was here Monday morning to do the job.  He fit us in to do the job.  My wife was very happy with him.  We had taken off some wallpaper in the bathroom and when we took it off it took off some of the drywall so it left gouges in the drywall.  He came and skimmed the wall and then primed it afterwards.  He did a couple of jobs for us and that was the most recent one.  He is always very prompt, he cleans up after himself, if he can't be there when he says he's going to be there, he calls.  He is super.  I would highly recommend him.  I think he has excellent prices too.  I think he does excellent work and I would definitely use him again.  I have recommended him to other people too.

He was very polite.  If he couldn’t make it quite on time, he would always call to make sure that that was okay.  He checked with me every night to make sure that I knew when he was coming the next day and that sort of things.  He was very considerate and cleaned up everyday to the best of has ability.  It’s pretty messy when one is getting a drywall done.  I’ll know how good it is when we put the primer and the paint on the wall.  It looks wonderful right now.  My husband has looked at it everyday.  I’m pleased with what I have at the stage where I am, but I’ll know when I put the paint on the walls and the ceiling.  I would use him again in the future if need be and recommend him to anybody.
