LOW COUNTRY REALTY-CENTURY 21

Description of Work: Low Country Realty was hired to manage my rental property in Bluffton, SC. It is a 7 year old property. I am an absentee landlord and relied heavily on them to do their job managing the property, collecting rent, providing necessary repairs to the property as needed and to note and report any substantive damage/ abuse of the property. They allowed a tenant to live in the home for a period of 2 years with substantially more people then where anticipated in the lease. Furthermore, they "indicated" that they inspected the property regularly by driving by and occassionally walking through the property. Upon the tenant vacating the property, it was left COMPLETELY uninhabitable. It cost me nearly $20,000 to make the home ready to rent again, furthermore costing an additional 2 months of non-rental. This "company" is unreliable, incompetent and unprofessional. I can not suggest strongly enough that you DO NOT use them as property managers. The manager of the company has refused to return any calls or emails to discuss settling this matter for well over 2 months.
