Neal worked well with us to produce a beautiful design that incorporated color and variety. He obviously has good knowledge of the plants that will do well in this area under various sunlight conditions. Installation was done on schedule and as planned. No surprises. End result was as expected. Very professional from beginning to end.

Neal Bitner is an excellent landscape gardner. He is very knowledgeable. He knows plants, soil and grass, He can also do lighting and irrigation. His problem is that he cannot be on the job site every week. If he is not on site, often his crew does not do the work they are supposed to do. They are told what to do, they just don't do it. Neal has had a tough time, as have many others, finding competent people to work for him. They either are not available or won't do what they are told and trained to do. They will not show up consistently. I would rehire if these problems are resolved.

Awful. We live in the Hilton Head area for about 9 months, returning up north for the summer. We engaged LifeScapes in the spring, left for four months, and when we returned, our lawn was half-dead. We repeatedly asked for explanations and remediation, with lackluster response. I finally fired the firm, and only then did they offer to replace the dead sod, but I would have to wait for six weeks to get the work done. I had already engaged another firm, who will replace the sod within a week, so I decided to just move ahead with the new firm, in spite of the fact that it will cost me in the four figures. Given the poor quality of the work we received from LifeScapes, it made no sense to continue with them on any level. Very disappointed in the unprofessional and incompetent work done by LifeScapes. Don't hire them.

They come every Wednesday morning. I have three quarters of an acre. The best parts are the design and their warranty on shrubs that they install. If the shrubs die, they bring the new one at no charge. I haven't found a better yard service. At this point in time, they're the best that we know of.
