Floors By Sterling Hight

Great!  We were still living out of state when we picked out the carpet, and had to schedule the installation remotely with the help of a 'house caretaker' to get it ready before we moved.  Mr. Hight was able to come out and measure the week we were in town, and he ordered the carpet to be installed after the interior painting was done.  Once he was contacted by our caretakers, he scheduled the installation and it was done expertly.  It is beautiful carpet and they did a great job.  He did not bill our credit card until after the installation was complete and we had seen it to okay the job.  The price was more than we had anticipated, but the job was very high quality and we are very pleased with the results.  We whole-heartedly recommend Floors by Sterling Hight!

They were very punctual and conscientious in moving furniture and making sure the tile was laid correctly. They moved the furniture before hand of course and then put it right back where everything was. Everything was great and I couldn't have asked for a better job.

After looking at big box store carpeting options off island, I chose to go local and I'm very glad I did. Sterling was helpful and responsive and the pricing was fair. As I was in the middle of painting the walls, I appreciated that I could keep carpet samples for a period of time to pick the right color. After narrowing my selection to one, I requested a larger sample size (vs. the three-inch sample) to confirm the color selection and received that in a few days. The installation process was very impressive and I am very pleased with the work. And the new carpet looks great!

Stirling helped us pick a color and style carpet for our room - we appreciated his input and are very pleased with our final choice. The carpet came quickly and the installation team were excellent. They also were able to stretch a carpet in a different room that still looked good but had sags and lumps. The price was quite reasonable compared to newspaper ads from big box stores. We did not any additional quotes. We are totally pleased with the service Stirling and his installation crew provided. We will definitely use Floors by Sterling Hight for our future carpet needs.

Sterling and Melissa were WONDERFUL to work with. Sterling gave us a concise estimate for our installation and worked wtih us to secure exactly the carpeting we wanted. He had to and quot;findand quot; this carpet and order on our behalf and have it installed based upon our construction schedule. This was orchestrated by Sterling and Melissa and the work was done exactly as quoted with no additional charges.
Our carpet was installed PERFECTLY!!! There is absolutely no area that needed any further attention and the carpet is unquestionably professionally installed and we are delighted!!
