The glaze stripe finishing isn't common. In fact it was recommended by an interior designer. I was very hesitant about the whole idea, because I did not know what to expect, or if I'd like it. I was simply going on the designer's description of the effect I'd create with that type of finish. Luckily Dawn Plasse, the proprietor understood what the designer was suggesting. She met with the designer to confirm the finish she had recommended for the dining room, and offered to send both of us a sample of the color I had chosen with the glazed stripes. No sooner did I get a phone call from Dawn, to advise me to go with the wider stripes, because the width of the stripes originally recommended were not creating the effect they were intended to provide. I went with her recommendation, and was pleasantly surprised to see the final product. The dining room looked beautiful. Dawn Plasse is the ultimate business women. She is professional, curteous, and a wealth of information. I've alsways felt comfortable working with her, enough to ask for her assistance in other work details. And she has yet to disappoint me or my husband. We can't thank her enough.
