Flooring
It did not go well. When Ralph sold us the contract, he assured us that the wood flooring would be good quality although there may be some variations in color.
His sample was beautiful. When the boxes of wood came the majority of it was almost black , looked water damaged, and unusable. Ralph agreed and took them back and said he would re-order, but then changed his mind. He told us to either take the defective wood or be out our money. Now we only have flooring in one room and we are out a good deal of money that two older people had carefully saved.
Update: after we sent a letter informing him we were going to small claims court, he agreed to " settle"
for far less than we were owed. We took the money and moved on. We had wood put in the other room by a wonderful company who gave us just what we requested.
