I have never given a review for a company on a job because I never seem to be completely 100% satisfied. However, I am compelled to give this review to this specific company (Berkeley Heating and Air Conditioning, Charleston, SC) based on my utmost satisfaction with the Job they did. And I feel very good for paying them for the job they did. I have to say I am very informed and thorough customer who did months of researching and interactions with various companies in search of a new HVAC installation for my home. It takes a lot of effort to convince and please me. With Berkeley heating and air, it started with a very professional and supportive conversation I have had with the project Manager Andrew Volcko. I never felt any pressure and he was always very candid, honest and most importantly patient with me while doing my research. He always answered my calls promptly and answered my questions very candidly. After I decided to go with Berkeley heating and air, I met the installing team whom I found to be very experienced and professional. Installers especially Kevin Anderson did an immaculate job making sure the ductwork and the system installation was done at the highest quality. Kevin Anderson and his colleague also another Kevin together installed the HVAC system and tested all the electronics as well as the efficiency of the system to its perfection. The second Kevin was more responsible on testing the functionality and efficiency of the whole system including installing the outside condenser unit and the board electronics and he did an amazing job! People like Kevin Anderson whose job in not very visible (hidden in the attics) must be appreciated especially when they do a fantastic Job as they did at my place! Both Kevins’ work was very clean and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right without any rush and I was extremely pleased. They answered any questions I had during the installation and I have to say I enjoyed the hours I spend with them. Andrew the project manager came by during installation work to check on progress and that was also very much appreciated. I am very happy and confident in the system I installed for my home that I will probably live in for the rest of my life. I cannot thank the team (Andrew Volcko and the two Kevins) enough for their immaculate - quality work. I strongly recommend Berkeley heating and air for those who would like to have high end, quality and very reliable HVAC system installed on their property.

They were professional and responsive throughout the job. The workmanship was excellent. Kevin, the installer took great pride in doing the job right and it showed. Andrew, the project manager And sales consultant kept me up-to-date throughout the project and was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. They both exceeded my expectations. I am very hard to please and yet very pleased with the job I had done.

The information I was looking for was provided - they confirmed my AC unit was 'dead' and needed replacing. He was able to get it cooling again so I could get through the summer - great job!

They came out after the flood to double-check and make sure everything was working, even though that wasn't our scheduled maintenance time. They take good care of their customers. If they're going to be even a little late they make sure and call. I've never had any issues with them, they have always taken care of me.
