WINDOW & DOOR CONCEPTS INC

The experience was horrible. We had Window and Door Concepts put in Eagle/Anderson windows in two homes (spending upwards of 100K). Naturally we went to them for new front doors. They sold us Therma-Tru doors (fiberglass). When the doors arrived onsite, the glass was not protected. Through installers (who installed other things and were the Window and Door installers) and painters (who painted other things) and a professional window cleaner (who cleaned the whole house), it was observed that the glass on the new doors was scratched in multiple places, most likely due to shipping. When approached, the company took NO ownership whatsoever. So I paid over $7000 for new doors that have scratched glass. And even though we tried to resolve the issue through the better business bureau, Windows and Doors would not budge. They decided it was not their problem. My encouragement is to NOT use this vendor for anything.

Firstly, I had used Window and Door concepts for two new builds and was extremely happy with the products (Eagle/Anderson windows and doors) and service. I probably spend upwards of 100K with this company. So when I needed a new front door I used the vendor that I trusted. Unfortunately, when I received the new doors (Therma-Tru), had them installed and professionally cleaned, it was noted the glass was scratched in multiple places. The local Therma-Tru rep came out to assess the situation and agreed that the glass on all panes of the mostly glass door were severely scratched. Unfortunately, she and Kevin Goad of Window and Doors decided they were not going to replace the glass. End of story. I made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the reply from Kevin is that he would give me $100 (the door package was over $7000 for the doors and installation). We are so so disappointed in the professionalism and loyalty to the customer.
