Bill Matheus is the most arrogant man you will ever meet. We will never have him mow our grass again. He is like talking to an angry toddler. Unbelievably lousy company.

I will never use William Matheus Horticultural Services again. I was charged 450 dollars and I had a quote for 350. He gave me a quote of one amount and when the job was done and it took 2 times for them to come out and do the job it was 100 dollars higher. There was nothing good about it because they had to do the job twice. What was bad about it was that he charged me 100 dollars more than what he quoted me with. He told me it would be 350 dollars and they would take away the whole temporary that were there that were rotten. He was going to take everything out and put it all in new. He put it in backwards. He put the blocks in backwards. I told him that he had to turn them around. He came back the next day and he turned them around. He didn't do a very good job at it and he charged me a 100 dollars more. He said that he had to charge me the extra 100 dollars because he had to come back out. I told him that it was a bunch of crap. He does the work when I am not here.

We take pride in the services we render to all of our customers and we are troubled and honestly very surprised that you gave us this terrible review. Before we left your residence, you expressed to us how happy you were with our finished product. We came out to your residence twice. Once to give the estimate and once to render services. Yes, we admit we did have a hiccup regarding which direction you liked the stones to face, but once this was brought to our attention we apologized and corrected it immediately. The work done had all of our stamps and smiles of approval. We would never leave a home with an unhappy customer. Although time has gone by since we last had contact, the quote on record (which we also provided you) has a total of $400. The cost of your work was $350 and $50 was to cover the landfill’s $50 fee. We did not ask you for any additional money from what you were quoted. Although I do not agree with the recollection of this review, I, William Matheus, thank-you for taking the time to write a review and giving me the opportunity to address your concerns. Also, thank-you for referring your coworker and friend to do business with us. Referral business is always welcome!"

Bill, along with his team, installed 5 larger trees, stone landscaping, drip line and a border. In the process they adjusted the sprinkler system as well. |Bill was present start to finish, leading his team. He was on time and the final product was great. |He even sent me pictures of the trees he was considering for selection for my approval. Outstanding customer service! |I only wish that I had utilized Bill's services when I began to landscape the yard years ago. |Call William Matheus horticulture you won't be disappointed.

Bill was able to take our general descriptions of what we wanted and transform it into the finished product that we are very satisfied with.
He maintained good communications during the entire project. One error made by a subcontractor in building the pergola was immediately addressed by Bill and corrected by the subcontractor. The workers and subcontractors were all professional quality.
The project turned our mundane rear yard into a highly enjoyable outdoor "living room"
