C.A.A.D. Flooring

Terrible. Besides being chronically behind schedule, when I finally fired Christopher Martin, he had left my house in absolute shambles. With three other flooring experts brought in, they said it was "hands down, the worst tiling job" they had ever seen. Tiles were uneven all over the house, tiles were cracked, mortar was applied on the tops of tiles, on the walls, in between tiles (he never got a chance to grout since he was fired--but he wouldn't have been able to grout because there was so much mortar in between tiles). He even managed to get mortar on the clothes in our closet. Tools were left all over, including on our granite counters. One expert I brought in said this job was so poorly done, it had to be malicious--it couldn't even be that he was just bad--he had to be this bad /on purpose/. Tiles aren't spaced correctly either the width between tiles or how the tiles are laid out on the floor. I will literally have to pay $2500 just to remove every bit of work he did do and start with a wholly new company to lay the tiles. He was terrible--and extremely slow, though he will promise you every day that he will be finished by that day (though it is clearly impossible to everyone, including him). DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN--he won't deliver, he will take your money, and he will leave such a mess, that it will be up to you to clean it up. He even dumped many, many buckets of spent mortar on my neighbor's yard, which I had to clean up for several hours, digging out the cement that had hardened there and washing my neighbor's fence. In my own yard, he made a mud pit out of the side of my yard that will take weeks if not months to repair. Even just removing the toilet to tile under it, he scratched the lid so much, it will need to be replaced. Absolute, unqualified disaster in every way.
