Brickman's webset talks about their quality work. They do have a reputation for doing good work...
IF you're a large and lucrative client. If you're not, then they do not come on
schedule, do not care about quality, and don't even live up to the terms of
their landscaping contract. I know, because 2 years ago they took over
landscape maintenance for our condo. In those 2 years, our landscaping has
deteriorated radically. Their contract requires them to weed, which they do no do;
when shrubs are trimmed, they don't even remove the cuttings, but allow them to
lie on top of the bushes; although they may trim our shrubs, they never shape
them; they blow leaves under our shrubs, not away from them, and the leaves are
never removed; they are supposed to remove downed branches and storm debris,
but they don't, etc, etc. etc. THEY ARE TERRIBLE and they have no pride in
their work. Because they don't weed, some friends of mine and I went out and
weeded a bed of daylilies ourselves this past weekend. Brickman showed up today and weed-whacked
the lilies, for reasons that only they could say - and then left the dead lily
leaves strewn around the flower bed!  I have photos to prove everything I've reported here.  I am not a member of the condo board - but if I were, Brickman would be fired immediately.
