Blue Ridge Animal Hospital is a full service companion animal hospital. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. The price was pretty good. It didn't take a long time for him to heal. I've never had a problem with their incisions and no infections.

They got him in pretty quickly and kept him in overnight. He got to go back this Friday to make sure it’s cleared and then he’s got to get his shot. My daughter takes her cat there too. It seems to us that their prices are really creeping up, but it just could be how business does. You have to keep making a profit. If their costs go up, I don’t know. I’m never going to switch. They are all so good, the helpers and even the receptionists people. It’s got to be a good place to work if they all have been there that long. My vet has probably been there for 30 years or so. They’re like the doctor, she’ll ask questions, she’ll explain exactly what she Is doing and what happens. She is very nice to my pet, very gentle and kind.

The staff was super friendly and made Zoey feel at home. The Vet took her time looking at Zoey since this was her first visit. We were pleased. Zoey also needed her flea and heart worm meds, plus medication for a cough she was having.

I love my vet. I have a cat. They were having a 25 year anniversary celebration and it's the best party I've been to in a long time. I've been a customer of their since 96. I got a $50 in services coupon for them. Dr. York has headed it from the beginning and she is not only a wonderful vet but I think she probably has a psychology degree because she is so wonderful through your own personal times. I've lost pets, I've lost a husband, I've lost a mom and she's just always there with kind words. She's a wonderful woman. The 2 other vets that work there and all the staff are fabulous.

My cat had bitten an electrical cord and then hidden it from me until she couldn't eat anymore. She had burned the roof of her mouth very badly and after what I am assuming was a few days, it was infected and very painful. The whole staff from front to back was wonderful. They kept me posted on her progress and as she got better they always had a comment on how great she was doing or how friendly she remained through it all. She was there for about a week on IV antibiotics and I am happy to say she is well and home with me now. Dr. York and Dr. Springs are the best! I have actually been going there for the last 4 years and I would not go anywhere else! Say hello to Charlie, the clinic cat, or to Gibbs, Dr. York's scardey great dane!

It was easy to get a work-in appointment. The staff was very friendly and the office was ran efficiently. The office was not about the glamour of the facility but more about animal care and their comfort.

They are excellent and even check on my dogs after returning home. They love animals and one of the doctors, Dr. Lori York, also goes to Brazil to do work at no charge. Their office is also very clean. Price depends on services given. I would also like to add they will not give Heartworm medicine to any dog before checking them for heartworm and make sure they are consistent in giving the heartworm medication.
