the staff is friendly but they seem to want to dig deep into your wallets. I have used them on different occasions and both times the cost have been way more than quoted. I have now decided to use another vet.

The experience went well, as always. We only had to wait for a minute or two before being ushered into one of the exam rooms. One of the techs/assistants came in shortly to get started with getting their weights, and to ask if we had any particular concerns. The doctor came in shortly after. She always handles the animals very well, gently and confidently; and to my knowledge, none of them have ever given her a problem. Check-out went well, was delayed slightly (and understandably) because of an incoming phone call, and we were on our way home.
To be honest, I've never taken our animals to any other vet's office in the area, but I still think they must be the best here. We've been taking our animals here for about ten years, and they have seen us through thick and thin. They have helped us with tiny kittens who needed to be bottle-fed (which I'd never previously done), a case of diabetes, one of cancer, three of euthanization-- a more compassionate vet group I'd have never known. There have also been spaying, neutering, dental work, and minor services, such as claw trimming and anal gland expression.
The place is conveniently located on the bypass (near WalMart). It's always clean,, and has recently received a nice update/remodelling. The staff is excellent, consistently professional and pleasant, very strongly animal-oriented, and yet also seem to care deeply about the people. I've been there also when emergencies have come in, and beyond a doubt, they know what they're doing, and they work as a team. I also know that some (if not all) of the staff has rescued strays, which is a BIG PLUS in my book.

We were called back immediately, the dr was late however. they had tried to call and have me come in a few minutes late, but they called my house phone, which as i work, i didnt get the message until i got home from the appointment. usually they are pretty punctual. they are in the process of remodelling, but that did not affect my visit. the staff is very animal friendly and greets them with much enthusiasm. they do seem a tad pricey, but ive heard of worse.

Took my (2) dogs in for routine vaccinations for canine flu. We were no sooner in the waiting area than they took the dogs back one at a time to get their vaccinations. I have always been very pleased with the Doctors and staff here. More importantly, my dogs are happy to go as opposed to the stereotype of animals hating to go to the vet.

Oops...I put the wrong info in the top box! The vet examined his teeth and one of his toes on his rear left paw. They also cut his toenails, which they did not charge for since I had to wait awhile to be seen. I also purchased monthly heartworm medication and some eye ointment. She also made running commentary about his facial paralysis and eye droop as if these things were my fault . My dog had a neurological episode related to an inner ear problem about 6 yrs ago that mimicked a stroke. Needless to say, he presents just like a human with the after effects of a stroke.

i will try to be brief but you have to understand this doctor and her staff has made us feel like family so its hard not to overstate how good they are . what i will say is they are very reasonablely priced i had the same services done at other places years ago and paid 2 or 3 times as much . the staff here is great they are all pet people they love any pet and it shows as for the DR. and nurses ( i guess is correct term) the big thing that impresses me is they listen to you i asked my last vet please do not try to lift my dog since he reacts by panicing and has a hip problem so it would hurt him more my last vet would not listen to me so i left . here it is different when i first saw the Dr and her staff i explained this to them and was told this is not a problem and they treat my dog without lifting him . in my case my dog is a black lab that was on several drugs ( from other vets) and was overweight despite us following all the instructions and foods other vets gave us . once we transfered to emerald city my dog was removed from 1 med and is on a daily insulin plus now he is at the normal weight and very happy , active infact now if we go to the vet my dog sam wags his tail and cant wait to see the staff or Dr. he loves them all that makes my life and his much better :)
