We made the appointment several weeks in advance.  They called the day before to re-confirm the appointment.  They showed up on time.  The two installers were extremely pleasant and professional.  The job was done in a timely manner and we were very satisfied with the results.

Installation looks good. Windows appear to be installed professionally and there seem to be no issues with the function. I prepaid a portion of the cost and then gave a check when I met Greg for final inspection. I noticed that they didn't wrap the beam above the window in metal and Greg said they would get to it the next week and I went ahead and gave him the final payment amount. I even told Greg that if they would go ahead and bend the metal, I would install it to save them a trip and time, but he said it was no big deal. After calling Greg 3 times, leaving messages and actually speaking to him about when they were going to finish, it has yet to be done. Greg admitted that he just forgot when I spoke to him on the phone and that is not a big deal, but how many times does it take to remind someone. On February 2nd, I finally called the store and spoke to Roger, who was very nice and professional, and he said he would get it taken care of and apologized. It has yet to be complete. I also noticed that they used the "smooth" metal finish instead of matching the existing "woodgrain" metal finish. Luckily, it isn't an eyesore and it is hard to tell, but I was specific when I first met with Greg that the metal needed to match the existing windows around the house. Moral of the story is that I shouldn't have paid until it was COMPLETELY finished and so I'm left with no leverage and 2 windows that are 95% complete.

The man I spoke to set up a time to come to replace the windows and arrived at the time he said. He was very professional and didn't take long to install them. He took away the old windows and cleaned up after himself. He did a good job and I was very satisfied.

Virginia Carver of the Windows Incorporated office gave me information
and price quotations on various window options. Roger Teems came to my
house to measure the openings and discuss details of installation. He
gave me a proposal for the cost of the Andersen windows at about $5,400.
He also gave me a separate proposal for installation to be done by Greg
Arms, who is Windows Inc's preferred installation contractor. I agreed to both.
Windows were ordered from the Andersen factory and they arrived back at the Windows Incorporated facility four weeks later. Shortly thereafter Greg Arms brought them to my house for installation. He and his crew removed the old windows and installed the new ones in the bare openings. He used new vinyl trim outside and re-used existing wooden trim on the inside. Work took a day and a half. The crew worked fast and efficiently and left the site clean and neat. The end result looks great. Cost for installation was about $2,500.

The start-up of the process was disappointing, but we experienced overall satisfaction by the end. The service as a new customer in the showroom on my first visit was so awful I almost didn't come back. The saleswoman was slow and didn't return several phone calls during the order process. Apparently the sub lost my phone number, which delayed contact, but I was very happy with the sub's work and professionalism upon the arrival and installation of the doors. I would hesitate to shop there for new windows which we will be in the market for soon, but this company was reputable by word of mouth.
