"On January 1, 2013, for better or worse, it will be my 15th anniversary on owning this business. In that time, I have met many great people and have had the pleasure of working for many great people as well. I and the guys are not perfect but we strive everyday to be the best people we can be. That includes making sure we exceed our customer's expectations in every way possible. Have we succeeded every time? Hardly. Have we succeeded the majority of the time? Absolutely. If we were trying to just get by, we would not still be in business this long? If I am not mistaken, we are the longest running service company in the Upstate offering our services. We are not here to take anyone's hard earned money without earning it. We appreciate every opportunity we get to work and will never take that for granted. In this specific situation, I can not remember ever speaking to Member either on the phone or face to face. All communications were between Ms. Platt and I and it has always been cordial. Member mentioned that we began working at their home in 2004 which is correct. I use three different software programs every day which are for accounting, work orders, and payroll. All of these can be cross referenced as to when work was done at a specific location. I have gone back and rechecked all of those databases and my records indicate that October 14, 2010 was the last time we worked for the Platts. If we worked at their house after that, there is no record of of it so I can not say anything about 2011 or 2012 since it looks like were did not work there. I never heard anything about a broken screen(s), streaks on glass, or broken window panes because if I had, I would have taken care of it. One of the ways that I use to make sure our quality is where it should be is to call the customer after each job just to say thank you but also give the customer a chance to voice any problem so we can take care of it immediately. I can not say for sure if I called Ms. Platt after the 2010 work because I do not document the thank you calls but I can say that if I did not, she is in the minority. Also, if we did all this damage, why didn't they just call me to get this resolved instead of posting something that might not be true? I am more than willing to step up and admit when we make a mistake but how can I do that if I don't know anything about it? I am as proactive as I can be in resolving any issues. I'm a big believer in communications. If anyone has a problem with anything Window Gang or the Upstate has done and I don't contact you, please do not hesitate calling me at 864-297-6890 or emailing me at [email protected]. If I can't provide you with satisfaction, I urge you to contact the Window Gang franchiser at 800-849-2308 and something will be resolved. As far as having positive reviews our here, call me "old school" because I just don't feel comfortable soliciting reviews from my customers of which I have many and if you need to have a reference, I will be glad to furnish you with whatever you need to make you comfortable in working with Window Gang."
