You cannot beat this place! The service that I have received is worth giving up the spa like salon feel for the service with a more retail like experience. Pamela is so talented and the shade she used on my fine hair lasts for 6 weeks! I've never received so many compliments and the price is half what I am accustomed to paying. On top of that, you can grab some fabulous goods that you can't find at your local drugstore. If I were you, I'd give Ulta a try....

The people at Ulta Salon, Cosmetics and Fragrance Inc are very good. They have a master stylist, Carol and a colorist there. Carol is extremely good and has been doing it for 30 years. She helps the other girls there if they have questions. Out of all the places I've been in Greenville I've been the most happy there. I was skeptical at first because it's a chain so maybe the people aren't as trained but the girls there put out some really good work. I thought they were really good. I've told people around there not to hesitate to go there because it's not what you might thing. It's not some rinky dink place. The price is consistent with other salons around here and I would go back to them for color, I just haven't yet.

She turned me away from the mirror and when I saw my what she had done... I started crying !!! She had cut all my hair off.... maybe half an inch all over my head !!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T GO THERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a whim, I asked if anyone was available to do partial highlights. The salon manager was, and I got in right away. I explained that I wanted partial, very sparse highlights and pointed to their service menu($40). She proceeded to do at least 25 foils although I told her I did not want overall blonding (I have fine, thin hair). When she was done, I was a total brassy blonde and she charged me $65. Also, the salon is quite dirty. You would think a big business like that would run a tighter ship. I was very disappointed and would not return.

The Ulta Salon is just like a superstore of beauty products plus they have the salon and they also have laser facials. In terms of responsiveness, they are pretty good. I have been using them for years.
