RENAISSANCE CO

We were moving to Greenville from out of state and had a friend using this company for some home renovations. We needed a trust worthy builder to do some renovations and additions prior to our move in date. We met several times with Rob Bailey and outlined our price restrictions and discussed what we hoped to get from the project. Everything started off well with the work going quickly and ahead of schedule. I moved to town approximately 1 month into what was estimated to be a 2-3 month project and was delighted to see that they were doing well while we were away. Unfortunately once I was in town the company secured a new contract on another property- a job with a MUCH bigger price tag to be sure. Our home went on the back burner as they started their new project. 4 months later the job was still not complete and the company was asking for final payment. To this day there are still loose ends that they have failed to complete. The bathroom floor is having to be ripped out at the shower floor leaks and has rotted the sub flooring. The laundry closet door does not close, the molding around the exterior door is rotting and the floors they installed "to match" our existing hardwoods look NOTHING like the floors in the rest of the house. Overall it has been a nightmare, the only bright spot being that they have an AMAZING subcontractor who customized our kitchen cabinetry and the butler pantry. That aspect of the project was done brilliantly!
