Refinish Any Surface

I hired Trevor for multiple projects but this review is pertaining to reglazing of my bathtub and his responsiveness after. Understanding the warrant for the work was only for a year, the photos attached are what my 2 bathtubs currently look like 2 years post project. I was charged $2000 to have the tubs and surrounding tiles reglazed however, they quickly began to peel and flake off. This is for a rental property so I obviously did not want this to be what my renters experienced. I reached out to Trevor via call/text to show him photos showcasing the state of the tubs. He -read- the first few messages of me explaining my dissatisfaction with how this turned out. I asked for his service to remove the epoxy or a partial reimbursement so I can fund my new project of redoing them. He has not answered 1 text or call to help me fix this or do the right thing.

Trevor completed the resurface of our old cast iron double kitchen sink within 3 days and it looks like new. He did what we couldn't do and with that I'm very happy. His advice on how to keep it that way in the future was also very helpful. This was our Christmas present for my wife and I, a very nice gift. Cheaper that the cost remodel the entire kitchen. My month old driveway is cracking already

Contractor missed one appointment and I was not satisfied with the work. He never regretted the tub where the glaze ended and the bottom of the tub was very rough. So rough you cannot bath in it. I asked him to fix it and he never replied!

Trevor was very professional and Wow! What a difference this made in the look of our tub! It looks brand new now! Also we got an A1 job done at a very affordable price! Highly recommend this company!!

Trevor resurfaced my corian sink embedded in corian countertop. He cleaned and re-glazed surface. He explained exactly what he would do, including benefits and limits. Result was beautiful. Service was professional, efficient, and skilled. And Trevor is an extremely nice and considerate person. We will have him return for other projects.

I came here to share our story, only to discover the review of Kayla, which I could have written verbatim. Our experiences were nearly identical. Owner Trevor Hartwick subcontracted our shower tile project to various unskilled, unsupervised workers. Not only did they perform every aspect of the job improperly and with a tremendous mess, but also they poured mortar and grout down our toilet and into our bathtub, resulting in a plumbing emergency that the plumber called *potentially catastrophic.* Trevor initially promised to make everything right, but he became defensive when we requested at least a partial refund. He further refused to cover our plumbing bill. Although we tried to give Refinish Any Surface the opportunity to follow through, Trevor remained almost entirely absent as one unqualified subcontractor after another escalated the mess in our home over several weeks. They ultimately left our tile looking like a DIY project gone horribly wrong with damaged, permanently discolored, scratched, and uneven tiles that now cause water to pool. In the end, we wasted more than $1,600 and an entire month of our time for a shower floor that is insignificantly worse shape than it was originally, structurally, and aesthetically. If you are hoping Refinish Any Surface can handle simple refinishing projects, think again. We also hired them to refinish a separate tile bathroom floor. The entire project took six separate visits over three long weeks. Different technicians kept returning for touch-ups, using different colors every time. The final coat was a color we specifically asked NOT to use. The finish is rough, visibly uneven, partially glossed, and partially matte, and has bits of debris sprayed into it throughout. Again, our original floor was better. Long story short, we highly caution against hiring Refinish Any Surface.

Trevor is rude. lazy, and unprofessional. He hires daily workers with no experience from Craigslist to complete these jobs. When they cannot complete them (or don't show up) he hires other sub-contractors to finish up. We personally made good relationships with the sub-contractors and many we continue to use. I sure wish we would have known them first and would have worked directly with them instead of Trevor. I will say that his worker, Brad, who sanded and painted our cabinets, was great to work with and does superior work. The touch-up wasn't perfect, but overall he did a good job. In fact, all of the workers on this project were pleasant to work with, albeit many did not have the necessary skills. Our main issue was with Trevor. he would "work" for maybe 20 minutes, leave projects undone and messy, and then leave everyday. Nothing was completed, and instead of taking accountability for his incompetence, he blamed his workers and our family. We finally paid him for an incomplete job just to get him out of our life.

They were friendly and knowledgeable. My only concern east that I had to pay someone else to put the drain and bath stopper back onto the tub. As a result of the 72 hours it takes for the reglazed tub to dry.

Re-glazed a 50 nyear old bath tub and it looks great! Trevor was friendly, honest and transparent. He was flexible with scheduling and confirmed the night before. The techincian that did the work, Brad, was very professional showing up on time, very accomadating to my elderly mom's needs, very well equipped, cleaned up after the job and knew exactly what he was doing. They did everything as promised and more exceeding all our expectations. We highly recommend these guys!!!

Re-glazed a 60 year old dull green cast iron tub into a gorgeous bright white tub! Trevor is wonderful!! Friendly, courteous, clean, prompt, and make sure I understood the upkeep and care of the new surface. So much easier than tearing out the old and a lot cheaper than replacement. Very Highly recommended Refinish Any Surface!!

On time and the work is excellent.

Trevor blocked off time for completing project with just a phone call discussion. He gave me a quote and stuck to the time and price. He was very friendly and professional. He explained everything that he saw needed to be done. He didn t ask for any months upfront and told me I didn t pay until I was satisfied. Will definitely recommend him to anyone needing this type of work and will definitely call on him the next time I need work done. Very pleased!!

Trevor was great to work with from start to finish. He reached out to me quickly and provided a same day estimate the work I needed done. He reached out a few days prior to our appointment as a friendly reminder. When he arrived at my home the work was a bit more extensive than he originally anticipated. He went above and beyond, keeping the price the same as quoted. I plan to hire Trevor to do additional work in other rooms in my house.

He arrived on time and worked quietly and efficiently. He finished earlier than expected and left the work site tidied up. We had a hard time dinging anyone who would even do the job. He called about 10 minutes after we inquired on Home Advisor.

Trevor did a great job for us! We started out with a 1980s bathroom, featuring bird and fish tiles in awkward places and a blue bathtub. Trevor worked with us to identify good colors for changing our tile and bath tub (we chose light gray walls and a white tub.). He gave us clear instructions for how to prep the surface and did a very conscientious job, making sure that even the dark colors were covered completely and everything was meticulously done. We would definitely recommend Trevor!

On-time and willing to accommodate to my schedule. The job was more work than he usually does but he was willing to complete it within the timeline. He was very careful not to damage any areas nearby with chemicals.
