Phillips Tile

The end result we were very satisfied. He came in and was recommended by a tile place and by our cabinet maker. When he came over he seemed very knowledgeable and our general impression was that he would do a good job. He listened to all the things that we had to say and then when he came he was very patient to listening to what we wanted. Then when he came he was very clean, cleaned up everything and that was great but all of the tiles are stick up. We called him back and he came and said that he would fix couple of them. So he cracked them out and put new ensign but it’s a solid colored floor and it’s extremely obvious that it’s uneven, the edges and corners stick up. His helpers did most of the work and the places that this guy did like the mud room and the bathroom weren’t too bad. The mudroom in fact is good but all the rest of it the main part that you see and it seems very bad right in front of the dishwasher, right in front of the refrigerator. The shoe just chips off from these edges. We were just very dissatisfied about it. We wouldn’t recommend him and tell everybody not to use him. My husband was very particular and told him very clearly if it was the flooring or anything that was a problem then to fix it and price was not an issue here. We just wanted a perfect job. The guy assured us and said that for years he was an engineer so he knows what correct is or exact is but we didn’t know why we didn’t get what we wanted then. The price was good and compact able to everybody else. The other reason we hired him was because the whole job was a fiasco. He knew that the other guy had walked out of the job and knew what he was doing. So he did correct some of the under floor but he was confident in what he was doing. While he was doing the job he was okay and he came several times to look at it, so he was responsive. He really did seem honest and cared about the job. He really did enjoy what he did.
