1.  Finished right on schedule:  9 months from start
2.  Prices were fair.  We added a lot and the additions added up, but all changes were agreed on.
3.  Employees were extremely professional.
4.  Communication was excellent.  Owner personally met with us weekly on site and had his staff correct problems we didn't notice.  Each invoice was itemized.  We received copies of all receipts.
5.  Project management was superb from on-site managers
6.  Subcontractors were on time and great to work with
7.  Project manager took care of problems during build and afterwards
8.  We are thrilled with the results.

I don’t write many reviews, but Peery Construction (also Peery Homes) just finished our house, and we are so pleased with the quality of the work and the process that we want to tell everyone about them.   You should definitely talk with them if you want to build a new home or do major renovations on your existing home.
     We purchased a house, built in 1972, which needed to be completely redone.  After working with an architect for several months and not being quite satisfied with the plans, we started discussing the project with Jon Peery.  He was extremely creative in his approach and, with his ideas, we modified the architect’s plans so that we could have a much more useful, and slightly larger space, for the same price.  For example, Jon showed us how to include a sit-down breakfast nook, how to expand a narrow hallway, and how to make the stairway to the lower level wider and more inviting.
     The project involved taking the walls down to the studs, eliminating interior walls, and adding on in two areas. Peery presented us with a detailed budget and timetable.  Just under eight months later, and within a week or so of the target
finish date, we moved in.  The project also was on budget, except for changes we made, which added about 12%
to the cost.
     The best part of the project was the way we were treated by Jon Peery and our construction manager, Ben Ford.  Ben was on top of the project throughout; he usually responded to text questions within minutes.  Then every week we met personally with Jon and Ben to review the progress on the house.  Quite often, Jon suggested improvements to the plans or new ideas we might like.  And when we wanted to make a change, he did it for us without a problem.  Furthermore, Peery seems to have a lot of clout with
subcontractors:  almost all of them were very responsive to us and to the project.  Little time was wasted waiting for subs.
We love our house.  These are good people and good people to work with and we recommend them highly.

John is a very good and understanding man. He came out almost immediately to perform the quote service. Actually, he and one of his workers came out and they were extremely nice and considerate. I am not sure what exactly the quote was but it was high. That is why we have yet to get the porch built. I know this guy is very handy because he has built a lot of homes in his time.
