The service was mediocre. Nothing was shining or very impressive. I would not use them again

Generally adequate service. Usually a pair comes to clean. One has been consistent for about a year. The second is frequently someone new. The reason I'm searching Angie's list now is because I'm no longer using Molly Maid. They are the only ones who can enter my home when I'm not there and I've discovered 2 pieces of gold jewelry missing from my jewelry box. They had to dig to find it because most of my jewelry is costume quality, but these 2 gold pieces were worth ~$1500. I've filed a police report, but I've learned my lesson. I'm now looking for highly recommended housekeepers and will be locking away my valuables in the future.

We paid $150.00 for two people, two hours. They cleaned two and 1/2 bathrooms and wiped down the kitchen. Vacuumed the stairs. Mopped a small hall area. The only bath with blinds, the blinds did not get cleaned, nor the top of the cabinet over the sink. Not a good value at all.

I moved out of an apartment and wanted everything cleaned for the inspection. The place looked AMAZING when they were done. Floors were beautiful and everything was wiped down. Completely move-in ready for the next person.

We have had numerous items broken, and the management was not proactive to take care of the damage. You will need to be prepared to do all the leg work to fix items they damage. We also had a iPad (Christmas Gift) go missing out of the box after one of the services. We filed a Police report, and the officer told us the maids found our door unlocked and the door keypad damaged and broken. Our key pad works fine, and we wonder why the maids didn't report this issue until after interviewed by the police. We and our neighbor have both left Molly Maids in Greenville SC because of missing items.

Since Molly Maid was one of the only services that answered the phone on a Saturday, we went with them. Their team of two ladies showed up on time and went right to work - blinds, walls, counters, cabinets, bathroom...everything was scrubbed. Very thorough, even handled extra requests with no problems. Recommended.

They are local. They are phenomenal in their work. They do a very, very good job.

They always call before they are coming, which was one of our requests. They do a good job and seem to be pretty efficient.

Overall, I would say the cleaners were not motivated. It was a selling opportunity.

**12/15/11**UPDATE - The owner of the branch called and left a message stating that she spoke with her employee and that, though they usually offer to come re-clean, a refund seemed to be the better answer, and will be refunding my money for the additional hour. I am at least satisfied with this result.**

I had previously used this company for cleaning 4 years ago, and they did a horrendous job, so I allowed them to come back and clean again. It was still completely unacceptable, so I quit using their services. Recently I purchased a one-hour discount coupon from Groupon to try them again, thinking maybe things had changed. I also told them that 1 hr wasn't enough, but I would pay for the 2nd hr. My house is 1800 sf; by experience I know that one person can clean the house very well (fully dust, clean toilets, sinks, etc., run sweeper) within 5 hours. Mind you, I don't mean a 'spring cleaning,' I mean a general good housecleaning that most of us do weekly (or try to). Two women showed up to clean, so I figured they should be able to do the majority of the house in 2 hrs. The and quot;supervisorand quot; called me when they were done (after and quot;2 hrs AND 8 minand quot; I was informed) and verbatim she said 'the girls got everything done except the kitchen and mopping.' When I got home, they most definitely did not get everything done - they hardly got anything done. They used a Swiffer (not dustcloths and Pledge) to dust around things on shelves, not clearing the shelves, dusting the shelf, dusting the items on the shelf, then putting everything back. Several surfaces had never even been touched. There was no attempt to hide the fact that they never touched the living room or the dining room, either. When I called to complain, the and quot;supervisorand quot; said that they only got the master bedroom, bathroom, and my daughter's room clean. I mentioned that was not what she told me on Friday. Two women in a 6-room 2-1/2 bath house should have finished much more than two rooms and a bathroom. Once I went through the rooms they supposedly cleaned, they were still dirty - only the vacuum had been run. The and quot;supervisorand quot; then went on to claim that I said they could quit once the 2 hrs were up; I said yes, but I was expecting them to have actually done something in the 2 hr. time limit. She claimed the workers said they couldn't vacuum because things were on the floor; this was a falsehood, as I had taken everything in the walking/thru-way areas off the floor and put them on the beds (having had good cleaning people before, I knew this needed to be done prior to their arrival). They also took two pieces of my daughter's clothing that were laying over to the side of her bed on the floor (not in an area to vacuum or anywhere the cleaners should have been) and took the liberty of shoving her clothes into dresser drawers where a) they did not go; and more importantly b) they have no business opening drawers! I took pictures of everything they did and did not do (but claimed to have done) in the rooms they 'swore' they 'cleaned' - filthy. I also have a picture of the big gash they put in the wall going down my stairwell with their equipment, which again the workers claimed they had not done this. I know my house very well, including all the places that need repairing, and that was not one of them until after Molly Maid had left. Finally, the mirrors were streaked and the sinks were dirty, on top of the pink mold left behind my husband's bathroom faucet. After discussing all of this with the and quot;supervisorand quot; who gave the attitude that she thought I was a mental patient escaped and didn't know the time and quot;goodand quot; housecleaning required, I demanded my money for the 1-hour additional be returned, and they refused to refund it. I was willing to sacrifice the money paid for the Groupon; she then tried to tell me I was not entitled to a refund due to the 2 hour minimum. I reminded her that this was due to a coupon they offered - there was no minimum requirement and I signed no contract. They just refused to take responsibility for their employees and their absolute laziness, their horrendous service, or their atrocious business practices. In fact, they refused to acknowledge that they'd done anything wrong at all. Frankly, they should be ashamed of their company and their employees.

They did a good job at a reasonable price.Their communication is outstanding. If they need to make changes to a schedule, they call and let us know. They always call and remind us before they come out. The cleaning staff that come out are great. I recommend them.

Owners of the company did not follow-up on their promises. After 5 cleanings I was supposed to receive a free cleaning. They did not follow through I had to ask them about it after 9 cleanings and they very relunctantly agreed to honor their promise. At our first meeting we discussed what would be the best time and day for our home to be cleaned. It was agreed that the cleaning would be done on Fridays and completed by 1:30-2:00. Out of all my cleaning this schedule was only adhered to 3 times. I let it go at first but after it continued I called and spoke to one of the owners and they followed the agreed upon schedule. That was the last time. I called again and left a message for the owners and they never returned my call. I waited until the day before my next scheduled cleaing and called again left a message and was called back several hours later. I once again spoke to one of the owners. He was extremely arrogant and rude. I hung up and thought about our conversation and the complete lack of customer service and came to the decision that I did not want him to have access to my home any longer so I terminated his service. I did find out after the fact that he told the cleaning crew that they lost my business because they did a poor job which was never the case. I also found out that I was not being cleaned at the arranged time because there were other house that they cleaned that brought in more money and the owners wanted them done first. Very unsatified!

They sent a team of three people to do the work. I was not home, so I don't know how long it took them to do the work. I chose this company over the others because they were more professional. I liked that they called right back. I feel that the price may have been justified if 2 people lived here. I thought that they did a good job. I am still deciding on who I will have to do the work.

They are very good and I would say they are border line excellent. They have a really consistent scheduling process and are flexible if you need to reschedule. They do seem to be a little expensive for the area.

Molly Maids do a great job for me. It sure makes it nice to have the big jobs done really good once a month. They clean and scrub the floors do a thorough job on the bathroom clean oven etc. It is an awesome service. I appreciate the good job that they do. They are always here when expected. I do not even have to be home when they are cleaning. I trust the workers.
