When finally showed up the one girl was on her phone the whole time while she carried in the product. During hour and 45 visit they only cleaned my bathroom she started to clean hardwood floor with same cleaner used on shower when I stopped her. She explained they forgot floor cleaner at previous house. I just asked them to leave and took the hit on the money.

I booked this service because I purchased a living social coupon for $50 for what would normally be $100 worth of work. It included 2 man hours of housecleaning (2 women for 1 hour). I had reasonable expectations that my entire home would not be cleaned in that time so when the women arrived I instructed them to focus on my floors and bathrooms. I have 3.5 bathrooms (only 1 of which is used on a regular basis) and under 2400 sq feet of floors (hardwood and rugs). I thought it was reasonable for two ladies to be able to do that work in an hour understanding full well that they would not do any cleaning of the kitchen or dusting or any other extras. While the work that was done was excellent, the bathroom that needed the most attention was left until last and therefore quickly gone through and they were only able to get to half of my floors. Both ladies were very professional and they approached me an let me know they would not be able to finish the job and that I could pay another $40 for an extra half hour of work so they could finish the floors. I did not agree to that because I felt that was a high price and that it was not unreasonable for 2 women to get floors and bathrooms done in the time I had already paid for. I would have given this company a higher grade based on responsiveness and professionalism of the women who came to clean the house however when I contacted the owner to explain my dissatisfaction I found her response to be lacking. I explained my situation via email and was told and quot;Normally with a 2man hour coupon, the most we can get accomplished is a Full bathroom and a kitchen or possibly just the bathrooms you mentioned, but little else..and quot; There was no attempt to make the situation right. I have had other cleaning companies in the past who have been able to do that work and don't feel I am being unreasonable. I will not be using this company again and would not recommend them. In fact, the next day I hired a company who will clean my house top to bottom twice a month for only $80 (no hour limit).

Maid in America seemed to be doing a nice job. They showed right up and they always call me. They've been very good. I've only had them for three months now but they always call me before they come, make sure everything is ok and is always there. They'll be coming tomorrow and they already emailed me to let me know they will be here. They'll call me in the morning to make sure everything's ok. They're very efficient. They call when they're done and I get an email saying thank you and if there are any problems to let them know. They're very optimist. All that comes from the girl in Ohio, she's the big boss. Her name's Nancy. Before I had them, I had somebody who used to come back herself and she charge me 50 dollars. This is two girls come together and they charge me a hundred but they do more work than the last one did. It's like a hundred dollars for the first hour. It's my mother's apartment and it's only 1200 square feet. She does not do anything to get it dirty. They responded immediately to any questions I had and called me back. I didn't have that kind of look on some of them that I called. Some of them are fully booked and never really called me back but for this one they were very prompt. They walk the business in other words.

I was able to schedule them for the next week when I called and Nancy, the owner or manager was very friendly and easy to work with. Arrived basically on time and it was great to have someone else clean my house since I always do it myself. Overall, it was a great treat for me and they did a good job. But the extra charge for distance to my house would keep me from using them again.

Three women showed up-one was the owner. She was training one of the employees, the other was already trained. They spent several hours on the initial cleaning, and the house looked great overall. They forgot to clean under the beds(we have pets, so vacuuming up the hair is important to us)but corrected this on future visits after we brought it to their attention. Their service is expensive, but they do a good job.

I called for a regular cleaning: vac, dust, mop, clean bathrooms etc. After talking to them I decided to pay the extra to have the spring clean option where they wipe baseboards, walls, doors, etc. When I got home the house smelled dirty. I had dirt on the floor. One of the ladies had tracked black stuff from her shoes all through my house (even on the carpets). They had missed some of the chair rails and they did not wipe down the door ways or windows. I called to complain and they came right back out bringing with them a mop that was so black and filthy. She came in defending what they had done and then when I started walking around and actually showing them the places they missed it was point-the-finger-and-the-other- cleaning-lady time. I was not about to lead them in every room and direct them where to wipe. That was there job and what I had planned to pay them for. I just asked them to leave that I would just clean the house myself and that is what I did for the next 3 hours.

"THE CUSTOMER DID NOT RECEIVE OR ASK FOR A SPRING CLEAN. THE CLEANING WAS A GIFT CERTIFICATE TO HER FROM UNITED WAY AND WAS FOR ONLY A BASIC MAINTENANCE CLEANING. STANDARD DUST, VACUUM, MOP, KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS. SHE LIVES 20 MILES OUT OF OUR TERRITORY BUT WE AGREED TO GO THERE ANYWAY (AT A LOSS BECAUSE OF THE HIGH GAS PRICES.) WE EVEN CLEANED OUT HER STOVE AND REFRIGERATOR AT NO EXTRA COST. WE USE CITRUS MAGIC AND GREASED LIGHTNING PRODUCTS TO CLEAN WITH SO THE DIRTY SMELL WAS "LEMONS" AND SINCE WE WERE NOT BEING PAID TO SPRING CLEAN WE DO NOT CLEAN WINDOWS OR BASEBOARDS. I AM NOT AWARE OF ANY BLACK STUFF TRACKED INTO THE HOUSE BUT SHE DID CALL AND WE RETURNED WITH MINUTES TO CORRECT THE PROBLEMS. SHE HAS NO REASON TO COMPLAIN. WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 13 YEARS AND WE STAND BEHIND OUR WORK AND EXPERIENCE. SOME CUSTOMERS CANNOT BE SATISFIED UNLESS THEY CLEAN FOR THEMSELVES. WE ARE SORRY SHE WAS DISSATISFIED FOR HER FREE CLEANING."

I had the lady clean my bathroom, vacuum, dust, and scrub my floors. It took her about three to four hours to get the entire job done. I was very happy with the work she did. She cleaned very thoroughly and my house just sparkles. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
