Great job, great people, fair price. Family owned and operated for many years. They were responsive to my initial request - showed up when they said they would and quoted a fair price. Once hired, they again showed up when they said they would, completed the job in the amount of time quoted and the price was what I expected. No surprises. Great contractor, good experience, would most definitely hire again.

Chris was very nice and worked quickly to find us the materials we wanted provide us with a price and time for the job. The final price was great. He had originally quoted this as a 3 day job, but he was able to pull in a few more people to finish the job a day early. Not only were the workers efficient, but they were also considerate. They asked before backing their tailer into the yard, which other contractors I have used would just drive through the yard a tear up the lawn. I told them they could back in the trailer and they left no tracks. Not sure how he did it, but I was very happy about that. When the team finished, the roofs looks amazing and they did a fantastic job of cleaning up. I have not found any roofing material or nails anywhere. In short, the price was good; the team was nice, efficient, and friendly; the job was exceptional; the clean up was great. I would definitely hire them again if I have any roofing needs.

The crew arrived on time and completed the installation in a very professional and satisfactory manner. The insurance company wouldn't approve a claim but Chris Carlton was persistant with them in getting a partial payment for me.

Incredibly well. From the initial contact thru completion of job was outstanding. Was contacted quickly after posting job. Explained clearly what they did. Sent message when arriving at site for estimate. Sent video and pics showing what they found. Gave estimate with clear scope and eliminated the sneaky “and we’ll charge extra for anything else we find” charges that are so common. Able to start job quickly. Notified when on site. Sent pics during process. Crew was professional. Owner on site. Was a great experience.

I had a few roofing companies come out to look at my roof because it was 18 years old and I was noticing the gravel stuff was coming down my downspouts. All of them said the same thing, that my roof needed replacing and gave quotes. I chose Carlton because their quote was detailed and I had used Carlton before on a leak and knew they were punctual. Chris kept in touch with me while I waited for another company to remove my gutter guards. I let him know when they would be out to remove and he was able to schedule the roof replacement for the same week. He contacted me the day before the install to make sure that the materials had arrived and to verify the time for the next morning. Chris arrived at 7:00 am and his guys were not that far behind. The guys worked hard all day and cleaned up very well. They replaced I think 3 sheets of plywood on the roof. Chris was onsite most of the day, he brought them drinks and breakfast, which impressed me. The color he chose looks very good on the house, its not jet black, I think he chose Moiree black. Per the quote it took 21 squares if Architectural shingles. My house is a 1 story ~1200 sq foot house

After chasing roofers down for a quote and work commitment, Chris Carlton was a breath of fresh air. From the day I made contact with him until we had a new roof on our home, only a week passed. His impeccable responsiveness and desire to get us whatever we needed in the way of shingle samples or pricing made our choice an easy one. The crew did a great job, was very professional, and cleaned up thoroughly once they finished. This was the first time we used Angie’s list for a recommendation and all the reviews for Carlton Roofing were spot on. Their pricing was competitive to other quotes we received but I’m so glad we went with them for the SERVICE Chris gave us. The roof looks fantastic, no leaks during the big rain storm last night, and we are happy customers!

Carlton roofing is very professional all the way. From 1st response all the way to excellent clean up after the job, they were top notch. Wonderful. Mr Carlton returned my call promptly and scheduled to come out and look at the problem. We were fortunate enough to be able to have the new ridge vent installed the same day. This went very well. Two days to get the quote, five days to start work (so it wasn't raining or threatening to rain) and all work was completed in one day (~7:30 AM to ~7:30 PM). Roof looks great!
