furniture sales
 + -1 moreAugust 2009, I submitted a claim to Guardsman on the furniture fading. Guardsman told me to read the small print. The warranty does not cover fading. I went back to Havertys and they sent a furniture tech. out to look at the furniture. The tech took pictures and said he would see what the company was willing to do. I never did hear from Havertys again. He also said I had a stain on one of the chairs. I submitted another claim with Guardsman, this time they said they were not going to honor the claim because my wife said she did not know how the stain got there. I feel the warranty Havertys sold me was a scam.
Description of Work: When I purchased my furniture from Havertys, they sold me a $399.00 (Guardsman) Gold 5 year warranty. The sales person said the warranty would cover everything from stains to punctures.
