Greenville Awning Company has been providing awnings for Upstate SC for over 75 years. We have extensive experience from large commercial jobs including shopping centers and apartment complexes to numerous small business and residential awnings. We custom design and build our own awnings which allows us to provide you with the look and style of awning that you want. In 2011 we joined forces with Air Vent Exteriors, a company with over 30 years experience in sunrooms, screen rooms and porch enclosures. This has allowed us to offer those products as well back by years of installation experience and satisfied customers. We never subcontract. It's a beautiful thing. It was wonderful. They were very, very good; first quality. They're not the cheapest probably, but very good materials, good workmanship and they do the job right. It was pretty pricey. They also did an awning for me about 15 years ago and they were very good. That's why I called them back again, they were a repeat service provider here for this engagement.

The service was great, I couldn't be happier. They were prompt, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. It was a very good experience. The quality was great, but the worst part was that it takes too long. They custom make each awning individually, but it takes too long. If anyone was looking for an awning service, it was a good one. The price was high.

I loved them and they did an excellent job. They are expensive but they are totally worth it since they delivery high quality work. They are a good local company to use in this area. Two or three people came out to do the work and they are very well qualified so it didn't take long to finish the job.

The follow up skills were lacking a bit. We received the estimate and agreed to the price and terms right away and paid the dseposit. We were told that someone would be out to take off the old covering within 4-6 weeks but never heard back. I had to make the calls to get updates and current status of the project. I had a hard date that the work needed to be completed and it wasn't until we actually talked to a manager/owner that we were able to get a commitment to get the awning installed. Everyone was friendly and the actual work and awning were excellent. I was just a little disappointed in the follow up skills of our sales guy.

I had it picked up and installed. There was nothing wrong with the product. The fellow who came over to take the order was not very experienced. He could have done some things better. The awning went over our front door and is 6 feet wide. There wasn’t much overhead between the soffit and the door. He told us we would need to remove about 6 inches of molding. Once the awning arrived, we put the 6 inches of molding back in and it was still too high. The awning could have been about 9 inches taller and may have been perfect. The lack of experience on the part of the guy who took the order resulted in a product that we can use, but could have been done better. If I did it over again, I would have taken a more active role to make sure he knew what he was doing. I don’t feel he was adequately experienced to give us advice on what we should have been doing. He was a nice guy.

They were very punctual, had a fair price, were willing to give ideas for shapes and fabrics, cleaned up after installation, and the finished product is better than I expected. I would use them again!

They came out when they said they would & showed us what they were going to do. The materials that were used seemed to be very sturdy & we haven't had any problems with leaks or anything. The men cleaned up after themselves really well.
