I did not have a good experience with General Electric. They wanted to charge me a service fee just to come out to look at it, not to fix anything. I ended up writing a letter to their corporate office and they waived the fee but I was still overcharged for the repair. I had only had the dryer for a year and felt like the repair should have been at no charge.

There was an older guy who came out with a younger guy, who was his assistant. He knew what the problem was and he fixed it so I didn't need a new part. They may not have been the cheapest, but they were reasonable. I was quite happy with what he did. They came either the same day or the next day. The older guy was obviously a very good mechanic because he knew what he was doing. He repaired the part so I didn't have to buy a new one so he saved me money. He was definitely very professional and I would use them in the future.
