Somebody came, he needed a different part and then he went on vacation so the part got lost in the shuffle so we had to get another part again. They are really good and no problem at all. It was under warranty. When he'd call me a few minutes before and tell me that he'd be here he was always here. He's very pleasant, very nice and if I asked him a question he'd show me what he was doing. He's a very pleasant person.

Service call was scheduled for 8 to 5, which was OK for retired folks, but would not have been that great for someone who couldn't be home all day. Repair tech showed up at 8AM, plugged his computer into the refrigerator, and exercised the icemaker. He immediately looked at the water diverter that spreads the flow out into the ice "mold" and discovered that the factory had left a little piece of tape in the diverter inlet. Once removed, everything works great.
