It went well.  some issues with cook top installation but finally resolved.  
User should check if this company is still in business however.

We had a counter-top put in in our kitchen, they replaced an old laminate counter top and our experience with them was excellent. They were very prompt in responding to calls, they were extremely patient in answering lots of questions and then helping us make selections. We selected a counter-top from a slab in their warehouse area. They were prompt with fabrication, installation. Everything went just as they said it would. They were very anxious to be sure that we were satisfied with their work and what they did. Overall it was a very good experience. They did an excellent job. Our cabinets apparently weren't level when they brought the counter-top in so they shimmed and leveled the cabinets supporting the counter-top as they installed and did a professional job with that which was something extra. They just did a great job.

Of the four estimates European Craftsman (EF) was the highest. (Estimates ran from $3,500 to $4,000). But when I compared their work to the other 3 competitors, EF was in a class all by itself. The craftsmanship and attention to small details that went into his work were amazing. He is an older Greek gentleman who has been doing this for decades. He learned the trade from his father at a young age and comes from the old school of craftsmanship and quality which is a welcome change from todays standards of get the job done quickly with short cuts. My countertops look beautiful. He installed them using less seams than the competitors. Sure one could take the quick and easy way and use two or more pieces of granite, and glueing them together, but you are left with seams. EF did all my countertops using one slab of granite per countertop, eliminating the seams. The competitors all stated that they could not do this. Also what impressed me is the backsplash. EF was the only one who would cut the thickness of the backsplash. This way you would not have this big thick backsplash, but rather a more subdued, elegant and eye pleasing backsplash.
It all boils down to, you get what you pay for. In my case when you are spending thousands on granite countertops, a few hundred dollars more to have the job done right with beautiful results is so worth it.
