My experience with Countybank Mortgage was EXCEPTIONAL from start to finish. I contacted their Senior specialist, BRANDON CALHOUN, and he was quite simply a delight to work with. He is well educated, and knows what he is doing! He is very punctual about responding to emails, very friendly over the phone, and in person.
This was my first time purchasing a house, and to make matters difficult, I work in Afghanistan and conducted the entire transaction from Afghanistan. Brandon made this very easy for me, and helped me get the right paper work together and in place to successfully close on my property.
I had done a lot of research before hand so that I could be in the know about what was happening. Well needless to say I still had a lot to learn. Brandon answered ALL of my questions, and never lost his patience with me. ( I asked a lot of questions! ) He was extremely knowledgeable and more importantly, he was very straight forward and honest with every response. He let me know of the different risks I would be taking and ways that I could potentially get myself in trouble, and had a real sense of integrity. Which I believe is extremely valuable and tough to find.
From start to finish, Brandon made this entire experience painless and actually fun. Any time we ran into a speed bump, Brandon would confront me with the problem, but also have several solutions already identified and ready to go. He never dropped the ball on me, and never left me hanging for days with no response. He would literally get back to me within minutes on most e-mail interactions I had with him.
When everything was said and done, he got me a great interest rate, and I got everything I wanted. He was even so kind as to give me some movie tickets as a token of his appreciation when the transaction was completed.
At closing, Countybank provides an entire folder/portfolio for my records with all the official information obtained throughout the entire process of purchasing the property. The customer service is next to none! I plan on investing in several more properties over the years and I WILL be using their service again.
