She's laid back and calm and when it comes to the details, she can't be beat. She has a system and she remembers everything. Nothing slips by Christy, which is a godsend when it comes to closings and all the paperwork involved.
You can rest assured that if you're looking for property in the Greenville, SC metropolitan area (and that includes the furthest west counties, as well) you couldn't ask for a better real estate agent than Christy Grear.
During the showings, Christy was very good at letting us look at the house without interfering, but listening closely and providing answers and advice we wanted. She was also very careful to write down every question we had on a property which she couldn't immediately answer and was usually able to provide answers within a day. I can't stress enough how appreciative we were of her objectivity while we were looking at houses. Our last agent (in VA) was rather pushy, often commenting on the house, either positive or negative, before we had a chance to make our assessment. Christy would instead wait to hear our commentary, and then provide any insight from her experience (e.g. what it means if you see fog between window panes, why to avoid polybutylene pipes, etc.). She was very knowledgeable, but often went beyond her memory and sought out information important to us (e.g. methods to take care of a buried storage tank). During the negotiation phase and after the offer was accepted, she was very proactive in communications, passing our information quickly, giving us responses, and holding everyone to the deadlines we agreed upon. She also provided excellent support during the inspection process, helping to contact and schedule inspectors and the final walk-through to ensure repairs were performed. Even after we closed, she went out of her way to make sure that we got our copy of the documentation from the attorney.
From the first time we interacted with Christy through to the very bitter end, she was helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable and punctual. We would definitely use Christy again and recommend her for anyone looking for a home in the Greenville area.

"I appreciate this member's frustration with declining property values but unfortunately the market has declined in the past few years. I am honest and upfront with people and will not give inflated values, even if it means the Seller will decide to move in a different direction. After our initial meeting, I followed up with this member and provided her with market data, including recently sold homes and unsold competition, and estimated closing costs.
